Looking forward to seeing your reaction to that pattern for the Tally Ho. Been watching Dave work on that for a bit, I hope it pulls clean!

Happy to see Josie back up and around. Glad her injury has healed up. Always impressed to watch you work. I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, but love to watch others ply their skills, even when I have no plans to do something like this myself. The dedication to quality by both of you is awesome! Also nice to see that you aren't afraid to show when things don't go to plan. I've been watching the rebuild of the Tally Ho just about since it started, including the episodes from Keith Rucker where he repaired Leo's threading machine and you and he got the capstan separated into its' constituent parts. I love how you all help each other out. It's also amazing to see how your names get around in completely unrelated fields. Keep up the good work.

Jeez, now that I've actually attempted my first casting and have an understanding as to how difficult it was even being a VERY simple pattern, I have an even greater appreciation for just how incredibly difficult the stuff he's doing really is. The complexity of some of these molds is mind boggling, and the different techniques and skill required to get them to work is just super cool.

WOW! So impressed with your skills. Looking forward to the Tally Ho casting. I jumped two inches out of my chair when the sand (at 18:30) fall. Yikes.

Build a box from furnace filters, maybe a fan to help keep it cool. . But a window fan with a filter, a 1"x2" wood frame should not look too sketchy! Maybe a Plexiglass door.

You guys are knocking the work out! Fun to watch Josie filling a mold - scared the crap out of me when it fell out of the cask! Damn that's frustrating and I didn't do any of the work!! The patience this takes is incredible

Glad you mentioned the Tallyho project. I have been seeing another yankee attempting to do something for Leo and thought, maybe, you and Keith had given up on the project. Sorry for my unfaith in you and Keith, please forgive me.

Do you use different crucibles for different materials to avoid mixing or something like that? I know nothing about casting other than watching these and similar videos.
