Congrats on getting inside the Apple event. I am very much looking forward to upgrading my 13Pro Max to a 16Pro Max. My 13 is still working great. I'll be handing it down to my girlfriend who was using my XS Max until she broke it. Currently she's using my even older iPhone 7. It still works pretty well but it's starting to slow down a good deal.
I'm not even know what is my phone color right now. Clear cases are ugly because of the magnets so, my black third party silicon case and third party magsafe wallet is amazing.

I always hesitate upgrading on years where they don’t make a blue phone. I love the blue colors on the pros and that’s what I always get. I wish there would consistently be a blue option.
I’m still using my 12 pro max which the 13 14 15 are all based off of 😅. I use my 12 pro max and I’m don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything and yes, I have used the phones that came after my friends and family have acquired the newer models so I have access to them and I still feel no need to upgrade lol. The 12 pro max was that big leap when it came out there was no iPhone like it so I acquired it. Since the 12 came out there’s been nothing but incremental updates since. Not worth it to drop over 1000 every year for “ incremental “ changes . Just my two cents
I’ve got a 12 pro max as well mate , and it is still a good iPhone , but when you go to the 13 or 14 , 15 series you will notice some good improvements over the 12 . Other brands are the same too bud , s24 almost the same as S23 . Pixel 9 pro almost the same as 8 pro , that’s how it works.
The camera is the thing. I have an old SE1 that still makes phone calls just fine. I also have a 12PM with a 'very good' camera, Are the phone calls any better? Not really... Couple of other phones in between that made phone calls just fine. But the cameras are constantly evolving. Some well known photographer said "The best camera is the one you have with you." I agree totally, and will prolly have a 16PM before 01 OCT. Will I have it with me 99% of the time? Prolly will. Will it make better phone calls? We'll see. Bob

Apple's "Marvel Phase 4" is an excellent descriptor! Moving forward, I would love to see them move backward. What I mean is, find a way to bring back Jony Ive and start thinking different again. Return to innovation. Not continue on this path of seeing what others do then take their precious time to catch up when they've finally done it the "Apple" way. The products are all boring; both in form and function. I do not believe there is any "thinking different" happening in Cupertino at this time. Have been so unimpressed with the rumoured iPhone 16 updates I bought an iPhone 15 Pro because I liked the Blue colour. That’s kind of sad the most impressive changes aren’t strong enough to overcome a colour preference for the older generation. My favourite iPhone Pro colour ever was the 14 dark purple but the iPhone 15 Pro USB-C and lighter weight made me upgrade so there are features which can overcome colour preferences.
For Airpods I wish they would do color. ~ better yet mixed color like the right Airpod is red and the left Airpod is Blue. Makes it easier to know which one goes in which ear.
When the Apple Vision Pro came out I ran to the Apple Store to demo it. I loved it. I then convinced my wife to also demo it, she loved it. But at that time it didn't support multiple profiles. I could see buying 1 Vision Pro for the house so that we could share. But 2 NOPE! My suggestion if not done yet. Add support for multiple profiles.
Apple stopped releasing numbers on iPhone sales years ago for the simple reason that they are not really selling that many iPhones anymore. Most people don’t upgrade their phones yearly due to such small incremental changes/improvements.

Yes Apple should have a “Product Red” version with every Apple iPhone, and iPad version. Yes open NFC, however keep it safe. Do not know about a foldable Apple product in my further. Late foldable I had was a flip phone before moving to Apple iPhones with the iPhone 5.

The Desert Titanium color of the iPhone 16 Pro will be gorgeous. It won't be the brown color in those poorly lit leaked shots. Having said that, please Apple, give us a more exciting color in the Pro lineup, as well. Maybe in the Spring, when you sometimes release new colors. Phone manufacturers don't do major redesigns on their phones as often now, because it's a mature market with designs that work. There are physics restrictions, weight, size and comfort demands, to say nothing of material restrictions. Titanium cannot just be made in any color, as one example. Funny how Samsung just changed the design on the S24 Galaxy phone frame to look so much like an iPhone. Old habits die hard.

Apple Vision Pro, running off a MacBook or iPhone sounds good. But that wouldn’t really do much to the hardware in terms of size and weight. Much of the headset is the displays, cameras, and sensors. The only way to make it lighter and smaller in the short term is to ditch that front glass display, and make the whole thing out of titanium and carbon fiber. This would unfortunately add to the price. So to lower the price they’ve have to cut back on the tech 😢 - weaker chips, less sensors, less cameras, less resolution displays. Or they could also just take a hit on the gross margin for while 😂
The Vision Pro is not made for people on the move, it's made for people who sit at a desk or on the couch and over there we already have all the screen real estate we need. On top of that the Vision Pro is a "solo" experience. Today you can't watch a movie together, but even if you could, who wants to spend $7,000 ($3,500 x 2) for that?
Don't know if it's worth it. I'm planning on upgrading though. My battery is showing degradation. I want a bit better camera. I want USB C across the board. I also want the slightly better payment plan costs on trade in versus hanging on another year or 2. The rumors of the 17 make me absolutely not want to wait.

It rotation should be smooth and fast and highly responsive. The setup process should be painlessly easy. If done right it will gain enough traction. I hope it doesn't cost too much to manufacture. 7:02 I believe a large tablet foldable will be tantalizing because when fold it will be compact and small enough to be portable. Yeah, I like that Desert colour a lot actually, Brian. Like a beautiful salted caramel shade. As someone who has been looking for a proper yellow or gold one for a while now, this is a marked improvement from that Anaemic Cream they tried to pass off as yellow on the iPhone 15. (I badly want the return of the XR style yellow which, as you say, POPS!)
I'm not really concerned what major or minor differences to the body look like. What is inside like the chip, battery, cameras, screen, functionality are what matter. If those are the colors then so be it. Not enamored of any of the colors, but since I always have mine in a case it's no big deal. I'll have a ProMax 16 by the end of next month.
I’m still good with 11 Pro. It works great and it still gets updates. Two downsides. Have to charge twice a day and the charging port doesn’t work so I’m using a wireless charger.
I think it’s a shame how everything leaks out every year about everything. It didn’t used to be this way and I really hate the video keynotes. I think that is just not Apple. That is not who Apple is in my opinion.
As my eyes get older I would potentially like to get a max or plus iPhone but I currently have a 15 pro and don’t see any other reason to upgrade, may be a case of just holding off till next year

Technically cheaper to just buy a new battery and increase performance that way than to replace with a new iPhone.

My iPhone 15 Pro Max was stolen 8 weeks ago and I ALMOST went for the new Samsung Flip 6, but . . .

Secondly, this robotic arm will produce amusement and life. The robotic arm will create a lively interaction with customers. If it is done right people will gravitate towards it because of the sense of amusement and live action. It must be done right without any malfunction or painfully slow movement. It rotation should be smooth and fast and highly responsive. The setup process should be painlessly easy. If done right it will gain enough traction. I hope it doesn't cost too much to manufacture. 7:02 I believe a large tablet foldable will be tantalizing because when fold it will be compact and small enough to be portable. Something that can instantly transform from a small form into a much larger form will be satisfying because you wouldn't be restraint to carry a big screen wherever you want to go. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
The battery can be a big deal. It sucks having to carry external batteries or having to plug up for 1-2 hours while charging

Yea they never give the regular base models any good upgrades if you call Dynamic Island great I do not use it.

As someone who has been looking for a proper yellow or gold one for a while now, this is a marked improvement from that Anaemic Cream they tried to pass off as yellow on the iPhone 15. (I badly want the return of the XR style yellow which, as you say, POPS!)
I'm not really concerned what major or minor differences to the body look like. What is inside like the chip, battery, cameras, screen, functionality are what matter. If those are the colors then so be it. Not enamored of any of the colors, but since I always have mine in a case it's no big deal. I'll have a ProMax 16 by the end of next month.

I’m still good with 11 Pro.
It works great and it still gets updates. Two downsides. Have to charge twice a day and the charging port doesn’t work so I’m using a wireless charger.
I have the 14 Pro and thinking about upgrading to the 16 Pro Max just because I want a larger phone. Other than that it’s not really worth upgrading.
I think it’s a shame how everything leaks out every year about everything. It didn’t used to be this way and I really hate the video keynotes. I think that is just not Apple. That is not who Apple is in my opinion.

As my eyes get older I would potentially like to get a max or plus iPhone but I currently have a 15 pro and don’t see any other reason to upgrade, may be a case of just holding off till next year
