Nice video
Thanks Chris 😊🤙
I love the idea of a custom Filter holder. I am still using the rubber lens shade on my J22ex7.6, but I sadly do not have the front cover of the lens shade. Are those usually hard or soft plastic?
I have printed some support parts for the lens and a back-fill part for my DSLM cam with PLA-CF. I love the feel of the matte CF PLA. 3D Printing is a great way to personalize and adapt one's camera rig.
I'd love to see more 3d printed camera parts. I'd also love to see them downloadable ;)
cheers
The font lens cover on broadcast lenses is somewhat flexible plastic. Maybe a thin PETG or firm TPU might be able to work?
I would be wary of using a PLA type plastic for a lens support, it can easily deform in a low heat environment like a hot car or just bring in the sun. A PETG or Nylon would be better suited as they have higher temp resistance before they start to deform.
PLA is great for prototyping though 😊👌
Yeah I will try and figure out a way to share the print files in the next video ✌️
