Bee Line Bus System: 2006 Orion VII Old Gen Hybrids

Here we see the now retired Orion VII Old Gen Hybrid Bus Fleet in the Bee Line System. There were only 4 of these busses and all are being auctioned off as of November 2022.

It was fun catching these buses for the past years but it’s unfortunate how these retired. Glad I could contribute to the video!

I was glad to catch #202 and #203 when I did. I happened to catch #202 on 2 different occasions; in White Plains on the 3 and in Fordham on the 60. No OGs in the Bronx for the first time since 2002.
The 2006 Orion V fleet is also fully retired now.
Your best bet to catch these gems in the MTA is in Queens, specifically on the JFK/Far Rockaway and Baisley Park Routes. Your best chances to catch one are in Jamaica, at Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst, and in the Rockaways. The only way you'll see one in Manhattan now is by way of the Q60 (and Q101 if you're lucky because LaGuardia only has 4 left).
