From 22 to 26 I was working day jobs. I worked at Intel, then at Facebook, and finally at Mint.
I had some cool experiences, but overall I was mostly unhappy because I wanted to start my own business, sooooo…. I kept quitting early or getting fired.
If I could go back in time I would do things a little differently... and this is the video I wished I had when I felt stuck. I hope it will help give you some clarity on your entrepreneurial journey.
Here are 2 BIG things I cover in this video:
1. I’m going to show you how your day job is actually your best resource for starting your own company
2. I’m going to give you steps to follow to go from full-time employee to full-time entrepreneur.
And here’s the full story on how I got fired by Facebook: • My $1B Mistake: Why I ...

"if you're asking when is the right time to quit, it's kinda the right time"
Best advice.
The algo kept recommending this video to me and after watching it I totally understand why! Thanks for the info it really helped me realize that I'm doing the right thing by going all in on my side hustle this year!
Taking the step to entrepreneurship is the hardest for most to make. Take it from the "older guy" in the room, don't dream about starting your business for 30 years. Just do it. Take that first step. Like Noah said, start it on the side and see where it goes. Don't wait and have regrets later in life!
This is it..... It's the confirmation of being on the right path and the shift in mindset that I need. I can do both. I can appreciate the part my JOB is playing to build MY vision. Another great video. Thank you for sharing!
The part about being in your 20s and rushing around trying to find yourself, relates heavily! My fav videos of yours Noah and team, keep them coming :)
Hey Noah! I have watched a lot of people talk about their younger selves and finding your niche in the world, but I haven’t identified myself as much as in this video. Being in those younger years I really am trying to take things at the appropriate pace, and your channel among others is giving little nuggets of gold to build on my wealth, physical or otherwise.
I like what you said about "de-risking". In my new business adventure I've often wondered if I'm not taking enough risks!
The video definitely gave clarity. Your current job can absolutely be a source of starting your own company. Experience always counts!👌
😭This is what I needed to hear. Thank you!
Noah - great video, your videos are the only respite I give myself in the middle of the side hustle grind!
You need to make a video about how to aquire clients for service based businesses
Agreed
Yea true, I'm a wedding DJ
I was a full time gardener in Palm Springs from 2011 to 2022 and I worked from 7am to 6pm I hated it and I never wanted to get a side hustle I got very bitter and my mindset wasn’t there, I just got a new job as a roffer and I’m loving my hours I work from 7am to 2pm and get paid fairly well with time to work on a side hustle and I want to do it too
Thank you for the great videos and the awesome community you are building 🔥❤️
“Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.”🙏
❤
So fixed on the outcome that you miss the journey. That good bro. Inspired
Thank you for your content Nick.
I’m very glad I subscribed, keep up the great work ❤️
Loved this video brotha! This is what I needed to see!
This video gives me confidence on the life I chose, thank you for the life-changing gold-nugget advice. 🙏🙆😀
Hi Noah! Appreciated this content. Thanks for sharing👍
I completely agree: try it out, do it gradually. You make better decisions when you do things gradually and you can work one problem at a time. We should strive to enjoy the journey not focus so much on the destination.
Great insights Noah! Great timing on the video too since I definitely needed to hear this
Noah you are the man. I love your channel and content. I see you with the "Topo Chico"---its my beverage of choice. Its not an easy beverage to find.
Thanks for sharing the experience !
Absolutely agree Noah! That’s why I keep mine too 😜

The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. Successful people do daily what the unsuccessful only do occasionally.
What if you dont want to start a business and also want to quit your 9-5?
😂😂😂
Same man
5 : 40 you said something about what you really want to be doing? What did you really want to do?!!
Good information but you speak really fast so I couldn’t keep a track of everything you were saying
I work w dumb people at the office. No joke
Would you have been more successful if you stayed at Facebook?
I am 15 what should i do
Finish school. Work on a side hustle, something you're passionate about
@@Vailslife Agreed, finish school - pursue a 9-5 you're passionate about, don't rely on the side hussle but give it your best go. Worst case scenario you do super well in an industry you enjoy turning up to every day, invest the spare cash wisely, enjoy the compounding interest. Best case scenario, your side hussle turns into your main hussle and you see that through.
Start being active and do your own thing. Experiment. And don't forget to have fun in the process!
Finish school , start working a Minijob and start investing the money or making it work for you, learn about something you are passionate about
