It may be way too early to say it, but Kleiman is showing how a systematic approach from the ground up is the key to winning championships, including the Biggie. Every guy gets the same message, so they're on the same page or easily corrected all the time. I think we are not done seeing how these changes end up affecting the game. I think the SEC is becoming less invincible year by year. They haven't had to adjust to changes because they have had the benefit of a talent glut, and media worship. The best new coaches are following the example of Snyder and elevating (to borrow a Tangism) talent to maximize potential. K-state's core has always been 3-stars, who play at a 4-star level with flashes of 5, and every year it seems we get multiple walk-ons who end up in key roles. Talent gets a kid recruiting status, but you still have to work harder and smarter every day, and you get rewarded when that hard work manifests in performance. Virtually every transfer is now an excellent salesman for Kleman's program.
Absolutely, incorrect on that punt analysis, Derek! Cole had it right… hell of a punt by Ty. Yes great play catching the punt but everything about the entire play, including the punt, was executed to near perfection.
TOTALLY wrong about the hang time on the punt DY. Hang time has to be TREMENDOUS for someone, in this case Porter, to get under it and catch it. Ask anyone who plays or played.
that was an astounding play that deserved way more Brando Notice than it got. It's overshadowed by the glam plays that the average football watcher lives for. The subtleties are what make football great, especially when you think about how different the skill sets are for each position. Gotta love the gunners, because they are so valuable, and you know they rarely make it next level. I'd like to see stats on kick return defenders. Guys like Seth, and Thinking of Brock Monty, you start expecting their name to be called for the tackle or downing the ball.
In this day of the transfer portal and more selfish players, I won’t be as excited beating Alabama as I would have in the old days. Same went for the LSU win last year.
The only down to playing is the chance of getting hurt. And if they get hurt in this game, what says they wouldn't get hurt in the first practice as a pro?
Great show! Super Game!
Anyone have a link to the locker room speech that the eye talked about. I searched RUclips and can’t find it. Please and thanks!
RUclips won't me post the Twitter link, look for the "Forever Remembered" video on 12/4 - 2 min mark.

The punt was perfect
Sure was! The comment on it lacking hang time is idiotic.
Does anyone know where you can find the talk Klieman had with the team after the Iowa State game? I can't find it anywhere.

How often do we get to play Bama? If I was a player I'd like that challenge.
Hopefully semi regularly moving forward
Pretty sure live, they said, and showed Quintin J on side line. I thought same thing, announcers must have too
Does playing Alabama hurt the image of our program?

A&M last game with 3 overtimes that would be it
Its gotta be at least 3rd because of all the no one can win at KState except Bill Snyder talk

LSU was trash last year.

Ya but you got that bag the first practice as a pro
These spoiled athletes should have to sign a contract with the scholarship to play every game.
