Yea for sure. I know when I set goals I can beat myself up thinking I have to go hard every training session or I"m not doing well. Just getting in the gym (or notebook, or kitchen, or office, or whatever) and chipping away is a win. Doesn't feel as sexy as the days you're 'crushing it', but it leads to those days. Often my mantra in school when a new trick wasn't working was "it will work on Friday". I knew if I put in the time during the week when it was hard, when it was friday and I was relaxed those hours would add up and it would pay off.
Hey it’s the autel evo 1. In bright sunlight it’s ok, not great low light and I’ve had a few times over water where I lose control and it tries to land. Wouldn’t recommend this model… but good for learning.
Like your quote - “give yourself some compassion” when feeling less than optimal. Interesting!
