The Impala. Bobby's. The Bunker. A Motel Room. Home.
I love how this person (who made the video) was making it as if they are looking over all their memories.
You know, I was never able to explain why I love the bunker so much. In 10x22, when Dean kills all the Stynes and beats the shit out of Castiel, I was almost more concerned about the bunker remaining intact than about Dean's mental state. The bunker is a milestone, it's an anchor of the utmost importance and seeing it destroyed would probably make me sadder and angrier than a living character's death. But you expressed everything I couldn't say into one beautiful piece of art.
I also love the way you included the Impala, which was the best home the boys could ask for over the years prior to the bunker's discovery, and still is their home, their rock, when they travel for weeks across the country.
As I'm sitting here, currently miles and miles away from my own home, I can't really stop the tears that this video brought to my eye. Thank you :)

Magi V hello again lovely ! thank you so much :3 i remember the exact moment i wrote this, i was doing an internship abroad, living on my own with a friend for a month, and it was the first time i had to take care of myself out of the family home. watching *that* video during *that* period of time hit me so hard, i actually felt my heart physically ache :')

I feel you... I will have something similar going on next year when I go help in a charity project in Africa for three months, alone. It will be a first for me too, and it makes me nervous now, just thinking about it! And anyways, with suddenly being eighteen, there is a lot of new stuff and obligations coming at me that can honestly feel quite overwhelming at times. That is exactly why and when we all need a stable place in our life where we can rest and recharge our batteries, with people that we know and who give us security and support.
But we also need to make all those experiences too. They might feel intimidating, but in the end, we can only grow from them, one way or another. I wish you all the best, and that you can always come home at the end of another really long day.❤

Lewlav Abra Thank you! If you are at Med school, what do you want to become??? I think the job of a doctor, surgeon or nurse is amazing because you get to save lives and help so many people. It'll be worth the long years of studying in the end, trust me. I know a former nurse/doctor, she's actually my drama teacher now, and she did the job for 20 years and said it was the absolute best time of her life. She always has a lot of funny and heartwarming stories to tell, and she has had a big part in me deciding that helping people is a wonderful and fulfilling way of living your life. I want to work in emergency aid, or maybe as a teacher, so I could pass on my knowledge. At the moment though, I still have to finish my last year of school, and then I can think about what to do next:P
This was just hanging out in my suggested videos and I clicked on it on a whim. Immensely glad I did. This is perfect and reinforces the neccessity of the bunker for the boys. Some fans I've been talking to want the bunker destroyed, like Ellen's roadhouse in season 2, but I think they're wrong. The show and its characters are different. They've developed and changed in so many ways that I think having to leave the bunker behind for any reason would shake them to their core and leave them, as you said, without a true home.
Thank you. Wow, I didn't even know people were thinking like that about the bunker. Don't get me wrong, I love the impala (as I'm sure a lot of fans do), and I think in some way it will always be a home to Sam and Dean, but that doesn't make the bunker any less important. And that's kinda what I was going for in this video; showing that they're both a home to the boys, just maybe in slightly different ways and that neither one is more important or "better" than the other one. I feel like this is also what the writers of the show were trying to convey this season, with Sam calling both the impala and the bunker home.
dude,i love the bunker it has everything we need,research resources,a place my brother can park his "baby" our own rooms,a firing range,we needed this place along time ago its our nerve center

I agree with you 100% it should never get destroyed and they need a home like place and the bunker is perfect for them if the father ever knew about it with his grandfather being of the men of letters they would have found out about it eventually.
Does anyone notice that this whole video is revolved around the Impala? Sure it's just a car. But to them it's home. They have gone through hell(literally) but the Impala Is always there for them whenever they get back. Home doesn't always have to have a roof, or four walls. It can even be a car. A car that has been passed down by your loved one. A car that brings you back and realize what you need to do (Sam with Lucifer). But most of all, the car that reminds you that this is home💕

Yeah well , They lost Elle and Jo, They lost Bobby and now, Cass , Jack and Dean.
It’s edits like these that remind me just how much I love this show and how much I love the elements of home that they do showcase and include. I love seeing these clips and realizing that they have the impala and men of letter bunkers as homes, but most importantly each other as a home. My heart, these boys always break it and then put it back together
This is.... wow.
The first time I watched it (a couple of days back) I had just finished season 8. I broke down crying. Not because I remembered what had happened and well... nostalgia, or because it's sad. I broke down because this is so beautifully eddited, so amazing that it hides the painful truth behind it. Because they were never that happy and this is just... so amazing and well put together that it hides the truth and it just hurt. Now, that i watched season 9 and re watched the video, I couldnt bite back my smile. This video just makes me happy, I have no words. Thank you
I know right??? The whole time where the FLAWLESS editing made it seem like they were watching a movie of their lives, of all the special and heartfelt moments, they were really watching an exorcism gone wrong, and even though I wanted to believe that they were as happy as this video made them out to be, I was sobbing, SOBBING! , because I knew that this life is just an illusion for them. T;---;T

Watching this in light of the last season beginning to film a few days ago, I am in tears. This captures perfectly the true essence of Supernatural and what it means. It isn't "just a show". It's a lesson to carry with you no matter where you go and what you do. Supernatural is family. And family don't end in blood. 🖤

This so beautiful! I have one extra though that would be nice to add some scenes from Bobby's house in South Dakota. It was boys' home too. I cried when Leviatans burnt him down in season 7. ;(

I've always left this video on my favorites just so I can always keep watching it whenever I'm down.. It speaks volumes.
I literally just cried so hard right now. This show jas so many lessons to offer, ranging from overwhelming joy, to inexplicable depression. The true value of a home is one of my personal favorites, maybe because I dont truly have a home. It's more or less just a place where hate, anger, and just genneral discontent for eachother festers, until it blows up in an argument...
My house is not a home, but this has shown me that the best things come with time.

This is so incredibly beautiful. You showed that you can sleep anywhere, yes, but it won't be home. Home is where you make memories. Sometimes that's a house. Or an apartment. Or it might just be a '67 Chevy Impala, with legos in the radiator and army men in the ash trays and initials carved into the window deck.
The first time they walked into the bucker and flipped on the lights is most definitely one of my top SPN moments.. they so needed and deserved a break.. I actually caught my breath and teared up a bit lol.. total game changer.. but it is just a building.. 'home' for them was and still is with each other and their family and friends.. great video.. 😀

So beautiful!!! I thought I wouldn't cry, but I did too! In the end! I couldn't help it! You really get the essence of this show - the brothers and all their lives TOGETHER!! And this also feels like a homage to the Impala too - being their home for so long since the beginning to the rest of their lives, even when they got the bunker to be their home based now. The Impala will always and forever be their home. But the real home for Sam and Dean is always each other. Each of them two is the home for the other, no matter what comes next after the bunker. Now I'm going to re-watch this again and re-living all of the feelings and spirit of this show, again.
I'm so glad you captured the boys homes both in one video. The bunker is their home they always want to come back to, but the impala is their home they take with them everywhere and I think without only one of them there would be part missing deep inside. Great work you did here.

It’s like they were watching a movie of their life. Their ups, their downs... everything. Cas looks of the moments when he wasn’t around. Seeing how much the boys have suffer even before he met them... And the good times, oh god, the family good times. This is just so amazing. Thank you for this.

I've seen the really fast part and then the Winchester hug before on instagram but I haven't seen the entire thing and holy chuck I'm almost in tears. And that's something hard to get from me cause I hardly never cry over anything.

I have just watched the entire series of Supernatural in the span of four weeks (finished yesterday) and I have been trying to fill the giant Moose and Squirrel sized crater with Music videos, behind the scenes and spn convention videos every minute that I am not watching Supernatural.its hard, I'm obsessed, I MIGHT be possessed! ... but yeah. I clicked on this video and it did something that not many music videos have been able to do for me... which is MAKE AN EVEN BIGGER CRATER WHERE MY SOUL USED TO BE!! I swear to mother effing Castiel, this show chipping away at my freaking soul... but anyway! yeah! great video.
