I hit the 'like' before she even made her first snare hit because she's that good. Being a huge, huge Metallica for 30 years and overall music fan I will tell anyone who'll listen about Sina. This kid is awesome!!!

Sina has opened my eyes to the awesome drummers in so many great songs that I never really paid attention to before. I heard the drums in those songs but never really heard those drums!
I'm quite impressed! I've played for 50 years, jazz for the past 30+, but have to admire your talent. You're more than a natural with your talents in guitar, bass keyboards, and probably anything you touch.
My daughter had natural talent. Bought her a kit at age 9 and she sat down and played M-Bop by Hansen. She gave up playing as she thought she sucked compared to me.

@@tolkstein True. But I do because Laws never gave a shit about his technical prowess. He could have been better. I bet someone like Mario Duplantier/Gojira has practiced more in a month than Lars did in 30 years....

Bei Metallica gehen die Meinungen wohl echt auseinander. Ich selbst gehöre auch nicht gerade zu ihren größten Fans. Abgesehen von "Enter Sandman" gibt es eigentlich keinen Song, den ich so richtig gut finde. Ich bin trotzdem dabei, mir das Video einige Male anzusehen/anzuhören. Denn gerade wenn man bedenkt, dass Du diesen Song nicht besonders gut kennst und dass Lars Ulrich eine recht eigenwillige Art hat, Schlagzeug zu spielen, ist Deine Leistung absolut beeindruckend. Und wie Dein Dad es schafft, das in Bildern einzufangen und rüberzubringen, ist auch immer wieder faszinierend.
das einzige was mir von metallica gefällt nothing else matters, hat sina auch schon. finde die one version aber mit den drums besser als das original. von symphonic metal gefallen mi nur wenige sachen, z.b within temptation faster, oder sleeping sun von nightwish, dio holy diver und halt was ich so in meiner profil playlist habe
@@user-lw9py Dann sind wir uns ja einig, dass Metallica jetzt hoffentlich durch ist :) Ich glaube, Sina hat den Sing nur eingespielt, um den erstaunlich vielen Metallica-Fans eine Freude zu machen. Und dass ihre Cover manchmal besser sind als das Original, ist ein Phänomen, das ihre ganze Klasse zeigt.

@@Aldon42 Metal ist halt generell nicht so mein Ding, ich höre lieber Hard Rock, Heavy Rock oder auch Punk. Trotzdem befinden sich auch Master of Puppets und das Black Album in meiner Sammlung, aber ich werde nicht wirklich glücklich damit. Die Takt- und Tempowechsel in Master of Puppets gefallen mir nicht besonders, die Hymnen NEM und The Unforgiven sind mir zu bombastisch ... Aber das ist ja letztlich Geschmacksache. Ich will bestimmt keinem Metallica-Fan den Spaß verderben :)
@@Aldon42 Dankeschön! Da fällt mir übrigens ein, dass ich mir damals auch ReLoad geholt habe, kurz nach Erscheinen. Es hat vermutlich im Rolling Stone oder sonst irgendwo gute Kritiken bekommen. Dass ich mich aber kaum noch an das Album erinnern kann, ist vermutlich auch kein gutes Zeichen :(

Yeah, I'm with everyone else, who in their right mind could dislike this??? She absolutely nails EVERY technical part from snare, alternate drums to cymbals but especially the kick drum which is equally important here. Again, another amazing job Sina...my only critique is that if you're going to cover Metallica, you're going to have to hit your drums MUCH HARDER, like Lars!!! :)

Seems like she is using a A7 stick. If she used a B5, the hits would have much power.

I've always thought Lars had amazing footwork and it's cool she put a cam down there for us.
to everyone insulting Lars please stfu. he literally plays these songs 25% faster in concert along with Creeping Death. He knows how to hold a tempo better than all of you in the comments and he's not supposed to be a technical drummer. He's a pocket drummer and brought greatness to Metallica, and that's why we head bang to it. Its not like his songs are to the best of his ability, he's just rocking out. Sina isn't looking for a competition, she's covering the song because she is having fun
Well said. Lars is always good for a mistake or two live but I never understood the raw hatred for him. Is he one of the best drummers world? Most would say no but he has written drum parts for some of the most iconic albums / songs in rock / thrash metal history. His stuff is isn't technically difficult but iconic none the less. The closing part on Orion. The breakdown on One. Call of Kutula. Battery. Whiplash. The list goes on and on.
Lars asks for it. Him and the rest of the band embrace his mistakes and make the best moment of them that they can. The hatred is not really hatred. It's ignorance. But it's one of their gimmicks...and it's honestly laziness that created his inconsistency. You're fighting an uphill battle blasting people that make fun of him...Dude picked his nose and ate it on camera for christ sake lmao
