As a kid growing up in the late 2000's to 2010's Hero factory was a massive part of my childhood. Lego was my all time favourite toy, and the heroes were like massive transformers too my minifigures. I just absolutely loved it. To this day, I'm sad they cancled the theme, I would happily have kept collecting them. I still have all my old ones proudly on my shelf
i blame the Bionicle reboot for why hero factory ended...but now Bionicle is in da grave and there is no new set of lego action figures...i don't even remember the last time we used CCBS in a lego set!
@@puggo.5408 Invasion From Below was my favourite(though, i do agree that it shouldn't really be connected to Team Alpha), but its what made me fall in love with Giant Mechas fighting stuff(The sets are literally Titanfall!)
I’d actually be down for hero factory to return, there’s less stakes that way and if they want to bring back Bionicle then they now have a modern constraction line to go off of
Bionical has been brought back too many times at this point. It’s basically running off of nothing but nostalgia. Hero Factory deserves a second chance
I was in the ideal age range when hero factory came out, and I did enjoy what it offered. But before that point, I had gotten glimpses into bionicle during its own late years. Even though I was "too young" I still was mystified by the 3 sets I got during the baramagna wave. Herofactory may have been easier to build, but Bionicle was always more interesting and had more of a community. Biotube was a huge part of my childhood. watching others tell their own stories and inspiring me to imagine my own. As time passed Bionicle only became more appealing. There are a million other things to note. the lackluster and mismanaged CCBS system, the failure to follow up on plot points from previous waves, and the feeling of repetitiveness from brain attack and invasion from below. Nothing fails for only one choice or mistake.
I was to young to experience bionicle but i was there with hero factory. Me and my friends really liked it and i had a lot of herofactory sets. I think the problem with this series was not a big plot. They left a lot of cool idea open like with Von Nebula return and him getting plans for building villain factory. But they never did it. I remember how hypped i was on that but no a brains attack.
I was a top notch master builder during that era, which was basically all throughout elementary and middle school. I basically retired when Hero Factory was discontinued. Though, not gonna lie, I really only enjoyed Hero Factory for the movies, of which Savage Planet and Breakout being my all-time favorites to this very day
Bionicle fan here and while I get what they were doing with Hero Factory but I never liked the tagline "Heroes are made" as if you can only be a hero by a production line. Also the way they change form/ upgrade or kinda lame as in they have to suit up for the situation which made me think they were not flexible heroes. Ok yes the same can be said with the Toa but I can exuse it cos of plot like the Inika were struck by a special lightning that turned the Matoran into Toas. It a shame they didn't continue the story. Would of loved a "villian factory" plot like the villians stole the fuzion core or whatever it was to make the Hero and they make their own Villian factory. Ok yes the jail break story did introduce the villians that were similar to the heroes but didn't they still got more than the hero? Just wanted a villian that were like the Paraka or the Rakshi etc!
Hero Factory brought its own death upon itself no way anything was going to replace Bionicle and as we have all learnt focusing on a children's audience is a great way to kill your product
I remember really liking hero factory when it came out while I was in middle school (even though I didn't like that it replaced Bionicle). I still have Furno 2.0 figure alongside 2 custom figures that I could make online and have them shipped to my house (still have the boxes as well)
A huge opportunity I’m surprised LEGO never did was using the Bionicle and/or Hero Factory pieces to make a Transformers line. They could’ve done a Movie toyline, g1 toyline and a classics toyline alone.
Honestly, i grew up with hero factory and the queen with monsters, it wasnt a flat at all. Im happy to still have these legos with me and remind me of these days.
Lego Hero Factory lost its spirit after Season 5, Brain Attack, when they completely changed the figures' skeletons into small figures that looked like normal Lego figures.
Hero factory was, for me, the chance to get what I missed with Bionicle since I only had glatorian, a few metru as part of a random lot, and the stars when I started. I liked it a lot in the jungle theme, and it seemed so cool, however it did make me sad how by the time I had a character, they would have a new suit too, which meant for me that I no longer had the canon version and since I was bad at moc making then, it made me feel worse. I started at the breakout wave, and I loved it. My favourite character was surge, and I loved the way the characters looked. Also, the brain attack game was nice, too. I also loved because in my city, there was a moc building challenge where the prettiest mocs are displayed, and I loved to do that every year. I got the chance to experience it and it was nice but as I got older I was wondering why it is so different from Bionicle. I tried getting my hands on them but they seemed like a myth yo young me since I couldn't find any directly, until I got a tahnok from a sale as a gift from my mom. Bionicle felt awesome. I got into the heroes game too before and my passion had been reignited. I guess hero factory was good for children but it didn't feel as good once it was outgrown, while Bionicle was and is harder to get to, but is much more fun in the long run
I think the reason it failed was a lack of variety. I loved this theme but you can’t tell me seeing the same 6-9 characters year after year wouldn’t get stale. In universe there’s supposed to be hundreds if not thousands of heroes so why not introduce us to new ones each year? And you could still keep updating some of the more prominent heroes like stormer, furno, and rocka
I loved Ninjago as a kid, but stopped at season 5, as I felt it lost it's touch after that. The best was season one and two. I never really had Bionicle or at least have no memory about it, but I did have quite a bit of Hero factory from 2010 - 12, but properly only because I loved Transformers.
I think the series started dying since Brain Attack as it feels like it uses very low amount of pieces than what it seems and feels to be (especially Dragonbolt, and the heroes apart from Furno and stormer) . and yeah the fall escalated when the heroes were turned into minifigures
In my opinion as a Lego and Bionicle afectionado Hero Factory per se was a pretty good show, howhever the sets were lacklusting.....the frame was the same for almost everything and to me was like buying action figures, it was less the 'make your own version of this' and more like 'change the skin of these guys to make it cooler'......this is just my opinion though
Hero factory is a clear case of not appreciating what you got until it’s gone

Same, I've contemplated ordering old ones online from the likes of bricklink but theyre too expensive new, and i dont really trust used sets
I Want Both Lego Hero Factory and Lego Mixels To Come Back.

I can't believe lego cancelled hero factory to bring back Bionicle only for it to end like a year
Fr they should have never released invasion from below, killing the whole franchise. Hero factory was so good.
@@NarimanUssenov invasion from below has got to be one of the worst lego subthemes of all time

So WORTH It!
If hero factory got brought back i think it might help Lego company out of its recession.
Bionicle is more likely to save Lego as a company the third time
I’d actually be down for hero factory to return, there’s less stakes that way and if they want to bring back Bionicle then they now have a modern constraction line to go off of

The second I saw the Heroes reduced to minifigures I knew the line was doomed.

Literally my exact experience during this time
i used to have every single fucking character as a kid and now i cant find a single piece of them, biggest mistake of my life

I liked Hero factory too i still have some of the sets
The reason the guy in the video is saying everything wrong is because its an AI Voice.
this video is a verbatim translation from the Russian video about Hero factory released 2 years ago, so there're some many mistakes in it
Me and my brothers used to love playing with the hero factory sets, Aswell as watching the movie

I’m disappointed we never got a follow up to the prison break sets. I remember so many people were gung-ho for a Villain Factory story.

I still to this day have about 70% of all the sets, it is my favourite theme alongside Bionicle and Legends of chima
I miss it very much.
I got Hero Factory sets on my desck to this day , Furno XL and Witchdoctor included
