When i was a little child dragged around on all those car trips, Michael McDonald's voice soothed me as i lay daydreaming in the back of the station wagon.
Steamworker - go to a gig, make yourself known, wait by the artistes door for an hour after the gig. This is what I did and he sent someone out to me who said - come sit inside its cold out there. Mike then sat down and talked to me for 20 minutes. He is a gentleman and a genuine good spirit. That is also why everyone in the industry loves him. I'll never forget those moments.

I used to play his What A Fool Believes over and over again off a tape on this little plastic taper recorder back in the 80's. I guess I couldn't afford a stereo back then. I Keep Forgettin' and What a Fool Believes are my favorites. Saw him in concert recently and he kept running his fingers through that goregous hair, thereby making me crazy.
I NO one will ever match his unique voice and he seems so down to earth. The world has changed so much since the 70's but he still excites the heart and soul of all. Love you Michael. A grand musician and a sweetheart.
