If I'm not mistaken, there was a rumor that the studio had cut out 24 minutes of the film shortly after Kubrick had passed away. If this is true, it would be interesting to see the uncut version.
@@CE_Edits_Spare me the conspiracy theories. This movie was based on the novel „Traumnovelle“ by Arthur Schnitzler; Kubrick didn‘t want to „expose“ anything.
@@SergiusXVIIYou are correct. I had recently watched a documentary on RUclips that took an in-depth look into the inspiration and behind the scenes process of ‘Eyes Wide Shut’. If you watch the 1969 film adaptation of ‘Traumnovelle’ you can see the similarities between both movies. Personally, I like how Kubrick took the concept and added his own artistic spin on it. If you would like, I can give you the name of the documentary.

@@LavanaySharma-oh2ioI've seen ‘A Clockwork Orange’ multiple times, and think it's a great film. I would also put it as another one of Kubrick's best films. I haven't taken the time to watch 2001, but I've heard good things about it.
