You’re absolutely right, you can pick up one of these and use it as a commuter and the money you save by avoiding the gas stations will more than make up for the payment for the car over the course of a month-especially here in California! Plus you can commute in style and use autopilot.
Try living in PG and E area , on top of that the increase in Insurance because it’s a Tesla isn’t worth it. However anywhere other than PG and E areas it would make sense.
i have a mint red 2014 model s 85, that had a new battery and screens, drive motor, and it drives great. only paid 9500 cash for it, id wait a little longer till a model y comes down to the 15k price point, then pick one up
I sold my ‘21 MYP with 66k miles with remaining btb warranty to 75k,no accidents, white with blk. int. Tesla offered me $23.3k trade in for it based on their assessment ended up selling on Craigslist for $25.75k which actually sold in 15 minutes after publishing.
I don’t think they’ll drop anymore , model y already sits at 25k that’s a great deal considering what they were before , highly doubt they drop another 5k or so
major differences between 2021 and 2022, 2021 does not have heated steering wheels, also there were major upgrades in 2022 mid year which adds HEPA filter and Biodefence mode and updated center console. 2022 removed front radar. I'm sure there are more.

Exactly!! Thanks for watching!!

Nice!!
I purposely leased my 2024 MYP for this pricing reason. And I only did a 2 year since Juniper will certainly be on the market by then 😊
I think that was a smart move!

Was that recently?
@@Myksgarage Yep sold my Y on 9/19/24 and picked up my M3P on 9/21/24 out of Burbank.
It seems like used Y’s sold on Tesla all have acceleration boost unlocked.
That's interesting
I noticed this also as the listed 0-60mph is 4.2s for every used ModelY on Tesla website
im waiting for the tesla event. if they announce juniper hopefully it will drop. tesla used website are just 1k to the discount
Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens after that event
all ev's are dropping, mach e's are lower than y's.
Yeah it's a good time to be a buyer!
Great video for me in this moment. Planning to buy one beginning of December. How many max miles it is a good amount? And 2021 or 2022?
50k miles is when the bumper to bumper warranty expires so under that amount might be a starting point.
I would just wait before 2025, prices will drop to push new inventory out like they did earlier this year.
Yeah that's a good suggestion!

@@benzoh28 you're seeing model Ys for 25?? Best I see are 29.5k. I still might pull the trigger any moment now tho.
@@esaicontreras8917 keep checking , I’m gonna wait till early next yr see what happens no rush on my end
$24k that is not a salvage title and I’ll buy one! Minnesota is still expensive at 32k for a 2022 Model y. You can get a new one for 31k.
A new model y for $31k??
Over 60% depreciation in 4 years and a tax credit available... seems like a no-brainer to buy now... 🤔
Tax credit is not available until the price drops below $25k
Im thinking of buying a 2021 Model Y Long Range. Is there any difference between the 2021 and 2022 model? Is 2022 better?

I think late 2022 models also have the AMD processor which is nice of you want your vehicle to have the latest updates for fsd
I don’t want to buy a used Tesla with such high mileage, because I worry about the battery degradation, and wear and tear from previous owner.
Well then spend your money on a new one and then lose 60% of its value in three years.
Xcelrate Auto does warranty coverage on used Teslas I believe.
Just wait until the end off the year 😂when your insurance goes up 50 percent
Why does it go up 50%?
It doesn't @@Myksgarage
