The more I watch it, the more it seems like a far-fetched dream. I wish to visit my college friend who lives near London. Somehow I can save a bit and ask for some additional funds from my father. So if I manage all of this, how will I manage showing salary slip which is 35k? The only option I see is to ask someone to sponsor my trip. (But don't know if my friend will do that. I don't have any relative living there)

Yes your friends can sponsor your trip but do ensure that you provide proof of relationship with your friends confirming why they are sponsoring you
