- (1-28-2018) I can not believe this part of the mall is still open. There is not one store here. Stay tuned for a full elevaTOUR of this dead mall. These are some nice elevators, however they are in a totally dead mall. As elevators fail here, it seems as if they are not repairing them. I found 2 broken elevators here during the tour. Beautiful. I love love sometimes when elevators look different than the square ones sometimes
Cool
Dead malls are such depressing places… I was at one before - completely devoid of life…
I'm always up for an elevator ride when I go to the mall. Although these old Montgomery Kones are my absolute favorite. And the reason for that are the bells. I dunno if I've ever been anywhere else that has those bells. I do wish that they'd clean the interiors, though, as the last time I rode them, they had quite a bit of a funk to them that made things difficult to breathe.
Always fun to see a video on this mall. I enjoyed the elevator ride myself, too.
that was back when the elevator still worked damn. i used to love coming here and playing on that playground as a child, but even back then you could tell it was falling apart. the barnes and nobles and movie theatre there is still nice
I’ve always liked Montgomery’s installations. When they aren’t maintained correctly, they can be problematic though...
I love it! How was your training?
Here are some other dead malls that I think are worth visiting:
1. Monmouth Mall, Eatontown, NJ
2. Exton Square Mall, Exton, PA
3. Johnstown Galleria, Johnstown, PA
4. The Marketplace at Steamtown, Scranton, PA
5. Meriden Mall, Meriden, CT
6. Berkshire Mall, Wyomissing, PA
7. Livingston Mall, Livingston, NJ
8. Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, NJ
9. Hamilton Mall, Mays Landing, NJ
If you guys follow Andrew on Snapchat as Dieselducy all in one word. You might see some elevator clips from earlier today when he left the facility. 😮
5:54 they made me steps behind that door
It's such a shame malls are having to close down nower days :( nice vid
No one will say the same for Simon owned malls though! I bet that the sight of a dead simon mall brings a little bit of joy into the hearts of photographers, knowing that there will be one less mall being depraved by a company that can’t respect one’s civil rights…
That’s were they filmed scream queens!
Do you know what the reason is for the mall’s decline? Is there another mall near here that people go to now?
Nice elevator. Such a sad place
A dead mall? Where is everyone? They’re all not here because, they have no longer to shop at Richland Mall. Right?
Hey! The mall in my city is called Richland Mall! Lol
Aww Real D 3D glasses. At the theatre i worked at we just had one size of glasses a pop syrup BIB (bag in box) :-)
Love the Monty's. Also, nice job with the live streaming... but I've been thinking about the "no bad words" commenter from yesterday. Maybe he was referring to "gazorninblad". "Gazorninblad" is a bad word. I don't like "gazorninblad" one bit. I bet that's what he was talking about...
Ok now that is strange
This mall is permanently closed now
yep.
Creepy! 🙀
I hoping this one doesn't get modernized FRIRND anytime soon FRIRND
HC EleFilms by Technicalboy3000 if anything happens if will be turned off. Highly doubt they would modernize this.
