Hi , wow what a channel , amazing , do you have a start up video or similar please and also how you research an item for selling , can’t seem to find it on ebay . thank you , have a great new year 🎉
I am pretty much giving up with my eBay. Personally have found that the cost of items I buy vs what the customer wants to pay only leaves money in eBay's pocket. I probably should give vinted a go. Found a personal grail-esque item in a charity shop though a couple of weeks ago, the RRP is £740 - and I paid £5, so hope is not lost!
The problem with multiple sites is the market gets broken up. There needs to be clear SEO on all listings for Google to catch your items in a search whatever marketplace your products are listed on.
Brilliant job George, really enjoy watching you channel, very relatable and informative. Keen to know how do you get by then with a mortgage if the money isn't in the account? How do you get bills paid, mortgage on time, food shopping in etc? Or do you live off Amy's money between you getting paid? Just keen to know how it works don't feel obligated to reply, but I find it very interesting how people survive between payments. Have a wonderful rest of 2024 and an amazing 2025.
Just an observation. You mentioned a few times about Vinted and cash flow, but all those cameras if you’ve had them 12-18 months that’s a huge cash flow issue. Could you prioritise the cameras as that will in the short term balance out the vinted cash flow issue? Plus once the first few months of operating on vinted is done you’ll be more balanced out finance wise as you’ll be getting money every month?
I have just used GSP for the first time. I posted item on 18th, today (28th) item is still sat at at the Lichfield shipping centre. Buyer becoming impatient.
As long as it was successfully delivered to the UK center then you've done your job 👍🏻 Anything after that is eBay's responsibility and they'll have to refund your buyer for any losses or damage
Private Sellers be aware.. From January 20, 2025, UK-based private sellers with an eBay Shop subscription will no longer have access to coupons, sale events, and order discounts. You’ll still get your free 100 listings per month, and access to other tools such as a personalised shopfront and promoted listings.
@@RetroReselling I've been running an E-bay shop for last 10 years, last year was a real tough one. I'm going to pack on Monday 30th, then take a few more days till 6th Jan!
Hopefully eBay have had some good ideas in the holidays ! I hate waiting for money on Vinted and don't have to wait as long as you Always great content George

Vinted has looked after me during December. So much so, I've stopped listing on eBay.

I'm totally with you on the furniture I do very well on antique items but it's a matter off storage and shipping great video as slways
What crosslisting app do you use? And could you make a video to how you package & what materials you use?
Just come across your RUclips channel, what an honest chap you are. I've just subscribed. Thanks

Hey loving your channel. Wanted to ask what’s the app that you use to check sold or listed prices that on your phone?

Good sales there.Get everything tested and listed.Cant sell them sitting there.🤑🤑🤑
I do both employed and self employed work best of both worlds
Vinted takes the win for for the 2nd video in a row... always a good sign. We're the winners when there's competition in the market.

What Crosslister do you use George? 👍🏼
How do u send off the furniture and so on things ?
Love Orvis such a great brand to resell but not common to come across
Do you bag everything yourself as I notice every item is bagged?
Good going George - 2025 going to be the changer year imo - buyer habits will switch up
Thanks mate! Keep smashing it your side 💪🏻 hopefully meet you in person soon too lol

Nice video..well done

Is selling used clothing as a business seller staying free after 31st?

Good as it is very hard for Business Sellers.
Rumours are afoot that eeebs are planing to go the same route as Vints ie no money until the buyer says all received and OK!
Eeebs? vints? Wtf?!
u keep saying 14 days what postage sender you using ? I send with in post get my money with the week I sent it normally?
pro account
Why 14 days on Vinted for payouts? Is it as you’re a pro seller? It’s usually 3 days after delivery that payouts are available for me?
Yes pro.
What about tax?
Talking about money held up cash flow etc. then doesn’t test cameras for 18 months cmon lol
Bro! Why you working? Your self employed. Take a long christmas break.
I'm doing no where near as much as I normally would so still recharging the batteries whilst seeing family and eating lots 👍🏻

Fake 501s George
Ebay - takes this fee, and this -fee, and -% and -fee...... Vs.
Vinted - extra +70p +free pence +free money!!!!
It's crazy isn't it!
Hopefully eBay have had some good ideas in the holidays ! I hate waiting for money on Vinted and don't have to wait as long as you
Always great content George
