    Lachlan is a second degree BJJ black belt. He is the 2017 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship Bronze Medallist, 2014 Australian Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix Champion, multiple time Pan Pacific and Victorian Jiu Jitsu Champion. He has represented Australia twice at ADCC, the most prestigious submission grappling competition in the world, represented Australia three times at the World Pro Championships and competed at the Eddie Bravo Invitational where he submitted former ADCC Champion Rani Yahya.
    In 2014 and 2017 he completed a clean sweep of the black belt division at Australia's most prestigious competition, the Pan Pacific Championships, winning 4 gold medals. In 2016 Lachlan was ranked as the number 12 lightweight BJJ competitor in the world. He is also the 2016 Australian Freestyle Wrestling Champion.
    He also works as a physiotherapist and in 2016 completed his PhD.

    outside heel hook , roll to your pinky toe. inside heel hook, roll to your big toe. if heel is caught, practice boot down.

      Nathan Moka Hopefully you watched the whole video but as a disclaimer for others I just want to point out to pay close attention to the point made at the end of the video about this escape. If the opponent does catch your heel DO NOT ROLL THIS WAY. You will destroy your own knee in that situation. I'm no expert but otherwise it looks like a great escape to me.

      Benjamin Santini rolling should be a last ditch effort BEFORE the heel is exposed. As long as you remember the steps of 1). Hide the heel 2). Clear the knee line you’ll be fine. I never roll unless I have to. I usually hide the heel, work on getting my knee out so if it’s attacked again it’s just turning my hips not destroying my knee.

      Once they catch the heel you’re pretty much done, you can fight the hands but really just tap.

      You have very short time. But posture up tilt you leg toward rolling and heel boot to slip the heel
