Posish before submish! Good job! Only lost a position once or twice. In mount when you pinned his forearm with your knee, they are very strong right there. Pretty easy to jam the leg down to half guard. Gotta shift your weight over top of his head.

why doesnt Levi pull guard against Skinner ?
You get penalised for pulling guard in the finals match under the ADCC ruleset
Because for some reason people like to watch standing hand fighting with zero takedown attempts instead of just letting them start grappling which is what we wanna see

My god the wrestling in the final match is atrocious
The quality of stand up grappling across the board is rubbish. A lot of people who train think otherwise but when you come from watching freestyle, Greco, or folkstyle to this, it’s hard to watch. It’s understandable though but it’s the confidence in the stand up area in some of the gyms that gets me. Aussies aren’t particularly known as well for their standup wrestling prowess
