@@tuanorton Was about to say that. In SF4 normal crusher is safe if spaced properly and you don’t want to press anything even if it is -2 since Bison can follow up with another EX crusher that is fully invincible. OD crusher is actually not bad when comparing to that.
This isn’t about the video at all more the character. I’m still confused as to why Bison has that blue flame? What is it? Is it tamed Psycho Power? Or just another power of Psycho Power?
From my understanding, Bison’s psycho power is fueled by the non-descript ‘power of the soul’ which is made up of a good half and an evil half. He expelled all the good from his soul so he could better use his ‘psycho power’ (purple energy). The good half of his soul manifested into a woman, named Rose (playable in Street Fighter 4 and Street Fighter 5). She wields a blue-green flame called ‘soul power’. My conjecture is that since Bison was killed in the last game and has been resurrected now, he has access to both psycho power (purple) and soul power (blue green).
@@martyparty52 hmmmmm that’s an interesting theory actually. Since Shadaloo was destroyed and there is no one to make an extra body for him, he probably resurrected by himself. Claiming the half of his soul again. And that’s why he has the blue flame. This could also possibly explain why he’s amnesiac this time compared to other times Bison came back. Because now he has that “soul power” in him again. Crazy because although Bison is still evil he is very tame in this game compared to previous games. I approve of this theory.
It's not a theory, it's a fact that it's the power of the soul. Bison and Rose were disciples of the only person in the world who could master the 2 powers, the power of the soul and the Psycho power. But Bison was more interested in the Psycho power and trained until he mastered it, but he had to eliminate all the goodness from his soul and killed his teacher. But apparently so that the Psycho power doesn't destroy his body he had to reactivate the power of the soul, it could be that over time we see a kind of evangelization of the character.
Shimmies are very common at this level of play. The bison player shimmies a lot but you might not notice till the very end. 5:26 for example is a shimmy that doesn't work out. Bison goes in and out of throw range but aki doesn't take the bait, jumping out of the corner instead. This happens a couple times throughout the match. 16:40 is a perfect throw-bait shimmy. Walk in, walk out, aki goes for the throw break, it whiffs and bison punishes.
Not to be dramatic but whoever had the idea "EX crusher should be safe at all ranges" should be scrubbing toilets for the next year at least
Exactly
Sorry but the problem is between your controller and your chair
Nah its nice to have actual Counterplay to Fireball DR
You should see Bison’s ex crusher in SF4. Not only it’s safe, it’s also a reversal.

No need to over complicate. Bison’s psycho power was blue in older games so they combined the og look with purple to make it more interesting
