- Meet Nathaniel Harrigan, only 16 years old! 🔥🎺 He came in to meet us during our event at PM Music Center in Aurora, just outside of Chicago.
Nathaniel is such a talented and driven young man. He is studying with great players such as Pharez Whitted. You can tell from his mature and developed playing how much effort and dedication he’s putting into his trumpet playing. Lots of folks opened their eyes wide when they heard him play.
We wish you a successful path ahead Nathaniel. Keep up the good work and you have a bright future ahead of you!

Great coaching from Adam there, Nathaniel - and you heard and did what he suggested immediately! Keep your ears open and your feet on the ground, man. Good things await your readiness for them - and you’re already well on your way. Listen to the cats who know, not the ones who think they do.
Keep up that passion and hopefully pull more youth into playing brass and woodwinds.
So exciting to hear a young guy play so very well. (I’m 70) There are some fine young talent that’s taking the baton and running the race at a high level. Bravo young man!!
You know, most of us, if we work REALLY hard, can reach the "GOOD" level. Then there are those who are gifted - they play at a high level without even trying, and if they work hard they can reach amazing levels. Then there are "God's Gift To Music" that are just out there! Maynard, Doc, Eric and Wayne are that level.
This amazing young man has a gift from God - truly amazing! He's really fun to listen to and think where he might be in 10 years.
So where can I buy his first CD??? Somebody better sign him quickly!
I love your style. You've got a great sound but more air through the instrument will help your legato sound and always aim for the middle of the note with the right mouthpiece, but you sound like a quick learner. The main thing is to enjoy your music and your playing. Feed that talent and never give up!

It’s no mystery, lots of practice and study. Put the time in and these are the results one gets.
Yeah, that kid has some bad habits, but with a teacher he will get that right in no time. Still bloody good tho!
