For BUS...... I'm thinking a good clue would have been "Ralph" or "Cramdon" ( considering Audrey's history ) unless this was before the Honeymooners (???)
The Honeymooners was in the 1950s.
No one had a voice like Audrey Meadows. She's unmistakable.
Her older sister, Jayne Meadows, did. They sounded so much alike you could hardly tell them apart.
Can see her without thinking “to the moon Alice”👳🏾♂️
Apparently it runs in families, I know two sets of mother and daughters and they sound identical @@mnmz2

@@mnmz2 Jane and Audrey DON"T sound alike to me.
Audrey is great... very classy. Sam had a special warmth and folksy (though very intelligent) charm about him.
audrey was so beautiful, thank you for sharing this
This aired on the day I was born. It was a Tuesday, I believe
Styles are interesting..that patch of bangs across Audrey's forehead is a strange trend.
Yikes! So right! Looks like a female comb-over.
Wondering if that was unintentional. It looked like a floppy piece of her curl that just came out.
I am amazed at the absence of good clues.
I don't know what is up with the hair across the forehead. How come it did not fall? A can of hairspray I guess.
I have a Broadway playbill for the musical High Button Shoes which starred Audrey Meadows in the late 40s. And in her bio in the playbill it said she was born in China and only spoke Chinese before coming to America.
I believe both Audrey and sister Jane were both born in China to parents who were missionaries.
I wouldn’t be born for another 5 years but I miss this era. People were so classy on TV with the men in suits and women in lovely gowns/dresses.
Those of us who were alive then didn't appreciate their class. We just assumed that's how all TV people acted and dressed. It was normal.
They ALL babble too much particularly Allen!! Just play the game already!!!!!!
I've noticed that on ALL these episodes. Allen's the best game show host ever, but I wish he'd stop explaining everything!
Bus: Greyhound
That Levenson loved two word clues!
Both Sam and that female contestant were horrible
I thought they were excellent!
truthseeker1020 So did I, but you have to remember that everybody's different. Not everybody thinks the same way that we do. That's one of the things that make life wonderful: that one word, difference. If everybody was 100% the same, life would be, pardon the word, hell! After a while, that is.
Sam always got on my nerves...

@@January. If Keith would allow me, I would like to apologize on his behalf!
Audrey was a fine player!
Sam Levinson looked like a nice guy.

He drove me nuts the way he wasted time being "clever."
@@lawsonj39 Also laughing so much, instead of concentrating on the task at hand.
In 7 days later I turned 1yrs old!!!
Allen sure talked too much in this episode ! 🦋
Non-kosher is my favorite clue now.
Too bad it's hyphenated.
Audrey's first partner said "edifice," which should have been the first clue given to him.
In order to solve 🚌 much sooner, I woulda said greyhound. Hip was an excellent follow-up to vernacular
I seriously forgot the word pose and went in my head is it posee? English is my native language but I still forgot 😂😂😂😂😂😂
i love aundry meadows!!! She's a great wonderful lady in password!!!
For Perfect, I said "sinless"
I always liked Audrey Meadows
Marilyn Monroe has another 2 months to live by the time this show aired.
You think she watched this episode?
@@waldolydecker8118 This was top rated show at the time. Everyone watched this show live. It was the thing then, and still is now...
Sam Levenson is so giddy!
I loved Sam Levenson stories as a child.
Meadows is kinda of a ditz..
Audrey was never credited by NASA for her role in encouraging space exploration. Her determination and insistence on "going to the moon" during her 'Honeymooners' run undoubtedly influenced many American scientist to achieve that goal. Baby, you were the greatest.
♡♡♡ GOD'S BEEN FAITHFUL ♡♡♡
All I kept thinking was that Sam and that lady would hook up. They were hitting it off from the first. He better have made his move; she was certainly expecting it !
Allen Ludden acted liked he was best friends with all the movie stars which was not true!!!
and you knew this to be a FACT, did you?
@KristaBrewer-rq7mo Just a thought maybe I was incorrect but do you or anyone else care??? Rather late to wonder about that do not you think??
