- The Kenya Defense Forces under the East Africa Community Regional Command Force in Eastern DRC has completed it’s second phase of deployment mandate that includes repulsing M-23 rebels from strategic positions in Northern Kivu Province as well as securing major infrastructure corridors for movement of people and goods. While giving a status update on the Peace Keeping Mission, Major General Jeff Nyagah however stated that there is still a big threat from over 100 other Armed Militant Groups in the region

M23 is doing its part withdrawing from the places it occupied
Kinshasa is the one that’s next to do it’s part and that part is to dialogue with M23
