Thank you, gentlemen.
Ayeeeeee
Thank YOU, legends
Assault and batteries was better
Yooooo
@@CarWashesOfTheCarolinas Sometimes dead is better
I love how he screams gage and it transitions into the tires screeching
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 I still see it I know hard core had to re-upload his video but had to blur out the music video
That tire screeching noise is not an added effect, but Dan.
They don't call him Dan the Man for nothing.
Guitars can make crazy sounds. I'm a guitar player of 20+ years and I've heard the tire screech from Dan, the air raid siren from Synyster Gates, the video game sounds from Herman Li, and much more.
As a horror fan and a metal fan, these dudes scratch a spot you can’t get from any other band.
Fun fact, the guy who played the truck driver who kills Gage in the video played Gage in the original ‘89 Pet Sematary
Don't forget Freddy's New Nightmare, and Kindergarten Cop are shown which he also played in.
Did you notice Josh from BADFLOWER was singing in the chorus? He was the dead guy with the white hoodie on that made a few appearances.
So one interesting thing I learned recently is a lot of the low-lows in vocal land are actually Dan (The Man) Sugarman, the guitarist!
it's kinda crazy how well you can hear everyone in this song, Dan on lows, Ricky on highs/cleans, Joe also on cleans, it's honestly of their best songs ever released.
then you have spencer doing a bit of everything
it’s the perfect mix
Almost everyone in the band are very good vocalists in their own way, which makes this band pretty OP in my opinion
ive always been into horror, but ice nine kills got me back into it MAD, ive been binge watching all the horror movies based on their songs that i havent seen, this band is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time, reading the lyrics and watchig the music videos right after watching the movies its SO MUCH FUN, Spencer its so fucking good at everything he does
Same!
If you watch the guy in the truck is the original actor that played gauge (kid who got hit by the truck) in the original. Also the old guy saying “Dead is better” is also from the original
I love that you know James, that was also his fiancee across the table from him!
Thank you! I can't tell you how many reactions to this video I've watched and they always point out James and and always forget Chelsea....who is also on the Deadmeat Podcast lol
Some of the time changes and off kilter parts are mathcore-esque, which I'm completely here for. Dan Sugarman has been such a great addition to their lineup.
If you listen to their old stuff they actually always had time changes and things like that. JD was a king at that stuff. They did it even more back in the day on Safe Is Just The Shadow.
@@codyoconnell1222 Yeah its funny seeing people bring this up when Ice Nine were doing this ten years ago.
I'm with johnny on this, I am not a horror fan at all, but I'm a massive INK fan, while I don't understand a lot of the extra bits, etc, I can appreciate the time and effort they put in for those that are horror fans.
I just enjoy the music
I can you are you yeah second home first please no hi sick I’m sick so yeah hi by the way no I don’t know where your weather picture yes and the black widow
@@PurpleGh0sty same tbh
Same here!! But I did read American Psycho bc of INK. The song inspired by that book/movie was what turned me onto INK.
Yo I was waiting for this one!
Spencers clean vocals in this one are just *chefs kiss*. So incredibly good!
Same, they're phenomenal
The truck driver is played by Miko Hughes who played the kid who got killed in the original pet cemetery
interesting fact...the truck driver in the video is actually the actor who plays the little boy in the movie pet cemetery
Fun fact! Josh Katz from Badflower makes a cameo in this vid as the undead kid
Haha thank you! I was like that looks like Josh, but wasnt sure if it was actually some character from some of the silver screen stuff. I dont know how he fits into the story
@@stevereese1943 my guess is that he was in the area when they were shooting and just wanted to get in on it 😂😂 he made an Instagram post with pics of him being on the set with INK shooting the vid and everything
Another fun little fact- the Police Chief is played by Bill Moseley, who has been in a few horror movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and The Devil’s Rejects
The guy driving the truck in the video, is the actor for Gage in the original film
this song really show how freaking good Pat is on the drums!
I've listened to this song in particular probably 1000 times on repeat already. The chorus is BEAUTIFUL, that riff is ugh *chefs kiss* and the breakdown call "the wrath of god lays beneath this soil"...EVERY single time I've listened to this...chills, all over. INK, 10/10 song!
I always enjoy your reactions because you keep it real and honest. While I like the chorus, mainly because of the lyrics (I lost my dog 10 months ago and the words hit a little heavier and deeper for me) I understand where Johnny would think it's lacking. I think this song is my favorite off the album so far, really digging how heavy it is. Hope you guys give the album a chance!
🙏🏽🤘🏽
Such halloween vibes and when he says ill make it right omg the high note
There's a few cameos in this video... The guy in the raincoat is from badflower and the truck driver is the actor who played gage in the original pretty cemetery movie
Shane bisnet is my cousin was the lead bassist to the band it’s sad he passed I loved all y’all reactions channels actaully doing this my family was crying from seeing all the support
Their child comes back and it’s not the same….. is it a cat? Lol gold. I spit my coffee out on my keyboard so thanks for that lol
Fun fact, the truck driver in the music video is the same guy who played Gage in the OG Pet Sematary film.
I was hoping you would be covering this. Did not expect it so soon! You guys do not disappoint.
The eyebrows going up on the throat slit made me chuckle.
We'll wait for the Nath & Johnny boyband😂. The new Headcave track Break the Cell is right up your street
Phenomenal breakdown of all the elements in the video. Keep up the great work gentlemen
The breakdown with the boyz and Johnny. Great title for the podcast :')
Out of all 4 singles this is my favorite. The others were amazing as well but this is just top tier.
Dan Sugarman is absolutely a beast of a guitarist and this track showcases him so well
As a metalhead and horror fan, i fucking can't wait for this new album.
Always good when a new video comes out ❤
It was absolutely perfection.
Ive been looking forward to your reaction to this one! I did not disapoint!
I don't watch horror movies either, as I don't like setting myself up to be scared by something that I'm trying to be entertained about. But INKs songs are so good, it makes me do a little bit of research into the storylines of the movies that each song is based on. For example, I've never watched Friday The 13th, or Halloween, but after doing some reading up on the plot of each film, it allows me to understand the brilliance of their song writing and references throughout the songs on the first album, despite having never watched the movies themselves.
Most horror movies are just not that scary. Watch them with a group of friends and just make jokes. The more you watch the less scary it gets.
I don't care for the spooky in your face horror movies. I much prefer the ones that are uncomfortable all the way through. Something I saw recently that gave me that feel was The Ritual.
been refreshing RUclips non stop waiting for this
Yes, yes, yes! I love you, I love them, it was so heavy!
If you guys already knew or don’t know watch the silver scream videos from the first album there’s also the comic inked in blood and also the end of the song tributes to scream that video connects to this recent album to see the entire story
Yo it’s the ice pick in the song it’s the murder weapon shown in a previous video I believe it’s hip to be scared. When it shows the flash back notice that the ice pick is the same one shown in the music clip.
Thanks for reppin the Aussie Rock Reactions guys!
THANK YOU FOR KNOWING DEAT MEAT. HOLY HELL. NO OTHER REACTORS DO. WELL DONE.
Shoutout to our queen Chelsea too
The damage - suspyria
Absolute banger
The whole thing is BRILLIANT!
Great reaction guys funeral derangements is my favourite song by ice nine kills the music video was absolutely amazing definitely looking forward to the band's new album the silver scream 2 welcome to horrorwood released on friday so excited.😀keep the reactions coming lads well done.😀🤘🔥
That opening riff is so fucking heavy. Love it!
Rainy Day is my personal favorite, but this song comes VERY close behind. I actually like how toned down the chorus is on this song because it adds to the emotions and desperation, for lack of a better word, that Spencer, or in the video, Louis, feels when he says he'll "see you on the other side," and that he'll "make this right."
On a side note, I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of this album on vinyl so I'm pretty hyped for that. Keep up the good work guys!
Love you guys 🤘🤘
This song was everything I wanted it to be! INK have always had a real talent when it comes to their chorus work and whilst I personally don't feel like this one was any less 'hooky' it defiantly was a flex for Spences cleans and range. Great reaction guys !
Ice Nine kills have the best choruses EVER! That's the one thing I always look forward to the most, they're just phenomenal
My favorite band 😍😍😍😍😍
This Chorus is amazing! 🔥🖤🤘🏻
Actually watching this in the morning for once 😴
INK with another banger as per usual, though
I actually think the chorus is awesome (my fav of the 4) and fit perfectly with the overall song. Only complain is that I wish those doublekicks were in all 3 of them and not just the last one. Adds so much punch to it.
Easily my favorite single. Can't wait to hear this masterpiece Live!!
Love that they got bill mosley in it to from devils rejects & house of a 1000 corpses
"You been busy? A busy little beaver, eh?"
How the hell have you Aussies not done Twelve Foot Ninja 'One Hand Killing' yet?
Do your fellow Aussies proud! 😁
Fun fact the truck driver in the video was gage in the og pet sematary.
Fun fact: the truck driver in this video played the kid that got ran over in the original Pet Cemetery movie.
Nice reaction as always! Please do the whole album on the 15th if you can
You gotta make him watch all the stuff he didn't watch. It's so worth it. I'm not a fan of horror, but I LOVE a good story, and Spencer knows how to tell a DAMN good story.
I dont like horror either, but i love me som ice nine kills!
I enjoyed the chorus. I agree it wasn't their strongest chorus but I think it was really good in letting the crazy heaviness and intricacies in the rest of the song shine a little brighter. Everyone got to flex a little in this song which is awesome. INK has been really good at creating fantastic, catchy choruses; this time, it feels like they wanted the focus on the musicianship of the band and the song structure, in which case: job well done. Great video guys!
Fun fact dude driving the truck is the kid from pet cemetery
I loved the whole song. I thought the chorus did fit. I'm never disappointed by what ice nine kills comes out with. They always impress me and I cant wait for this album.
My six year old daughter LOVES INK! Her favorite is IT is the End. She calls it “the pennywise song”
Personally out of the 4 singles theyve released, this one ranks second for me behind Rainy Day. But they are all fantastic songs, cant wait for the album to drop
Johnny on the Internet: "How do you do fellow kids" 😂
I've never noticed until just now, holy hell Nath's arms though o.o almost as metal as the song
The kid from Pet Semetary is the truck driver here.
Did you guys happen to do a full album reaction anywhere by chance? I don't recommend many albums but their new one is so good. Its rare an entire album is stellar from start to finish but these guys dropped and absolute banger! I absolutely need to see you guys check out The Box or Farewell II Flesh lol
We spoke a little about it on our podcast but we don’t do full album reacts
@@nathandjohnny no worries guys, still would love to see one or two more off this album though!
It's an old one but I'd love to see y'all do a reaction to The Fastest Way to a Girl's Heart is Through Her Ribcage. I love that song & the video for it is brilliant as well.
I freaking love INK
im a big baby and don't watch horror movies ...but i love the themes and ideas in horror, so i enjoy what INK are doing ...reading the stories was always way eaiser for me than watching the horror ...INK are up there with Alesana for me when it comes to creativity in their writing and they are both hugely underrated imo
I heard they had everyone in the band screaming and possibly another volcalist to help with different screams?
Yeah I'm not a huge horror fan so I don't really know where any of the films or books they are portraying are from, but I can understand the story there going with for the extra bits. Especially after watching all of the sliver scream videos it all makes sense or at least for me it does. From what i can tell spencer seems to be a murderer that recreated killings from horror films/books, eventually he has been arrested under suspicion of said murders and is now in custody. The videos we are currently seeing are other murders he is believed to has committed and the police are trying to find enough evidence to put him behind bars, through watching these videos. Well at least that's how I've interpreted it anyway.
Is that the guy from the mosh ads?
Sick channel also!
Yep!
I think this is one of their most infectious chorus’s.
Fun fact, the driver of the truck that hits Gage is actually the guy who played Gage in the original movie. 👌🏻
And then of course, Bill Moseley is a horror icon and he is playing the detective. 🔥
"kind of nsync" killed me!!! XD
this is my type of music it's sooo heavy, organs in metal is awesome it's a lighter than the stuff i was listening to a few minutes ago but i really like this when there not screaming it kinda like Falling in Reverse vocals but when there screaming it's like Demon Hunter
The entire album is banger after banger. I think Assault and Batteries is my favorite, followed by A Rash Decision. I don't get most of the horror references either, but I still love INK.
“If it wasn’t from ace Ventura, I don’t know it” 😂
I know everyone always says "it's all about spencer".... & i can understand why, he's amazing...
But songs like this, remind you how important all of the other parts are, too....
So the story is Spencer's fiance was murdered, he was arrested for the murder. In this video he kills her the same way his fiance was murdered, thats why the detective watched it back and said he got him.
I'm not even half way through the new album and i already love it more than The Silver Scream. Its fucking incredible. The one about Psycho has one of the sickest breakdowns I've ever heard. Gonna blast it loud tomorrow, hope the other people in my building don't mind loud heavy music 🤣
Nicee guys
You guys know who Badflower are but did you notice the zombie lookin guy in the hoody was their lead singer Josh Katz?
This entire song is a flex. Drummer went mad, guitar was mad, vocals were absolutely mad. Agree with Johnny on the chorus, it lacked the epicness of the rest of the song
The drums are actually 100% programmed which is pretty disappointing.
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 Ye that chorus is epic af, one of my favorites of the singles
@@jasonlovesmusicreacting882 I've listened to it a bunch of times since, happy to say the chorus has grown on me
My bet is that there is going to be one more concluding music video that drops Friday, as the album release "promo track", to conclude this story. Gonna be a freaky Friday hehe
I think i remember that when the first single dropped you could read on their site that they Release a single each 9th of a month and one on october 15th
So i am pretty sure
Why are all of your reviews not borrow fans?! I need someone who can truly appreciate the elegance of how this is done compared to the movies!
Huh?
I KNEW THIS WAS PET SEMETARY AS SOON AS U SEE THE CATS BODY AND THE OLD MAN
I love INK but I know they are trying to be different from other bands an what they do but I’m not crazy with the movie scenes I don’t care for them but ink a phenomenal band killer
Bill Moseley!!!
Nate is doing all the juice ....
Nah, he just knows what he is doing in the gym (he should too…it’s his job)
Morning gents
i guess you guys should hear take your pick on their album 🤣
The line sometimes dead is better is a line from pet sematary
The got the Actor who is Gage from the OG to be the trucker in the vid and Rachel is the name of the char from Pet Sematary
#begoodPeople
I actually liked this chorus the most out of the singles. Instantly got stuck in my head from the first listen
no one talks about how good Spencer's acting is...
🤘
