I immediately thought of that comparison the first time first time I heard Take your Pick. Merry Axemas may now have INK’s second heaviest breakdown, but its still the best Christmas song. Deathcore breakdowns greatly improve Christmas music in general. And now they’re improving Valentine’s Day music too

I love that the breakdown wasn't just a little 10 second snippet of extra heavies and instead was just 40 seconds of pure brutality.

That's the deepest most powerful growls I have heard corpsegrinder execute while staying musical.
He's been doing death growls since he was 16 or 17 I think and he is now either 51 or 52.
You should check Cannibal Corpse's 'Kill' - the song 'Five Nails Through the Neck' offers more of Corpsegrinder's death growls.

There's something about how "fucking axe to" is said that makes it sounds fucking filthy even before the lows and I love it

This guys went from "light metalcore" to absolute smashing caos deathcore/death metal
Tbh they still had some pretty brutal metalcore songs, like Stabbing in the Dark and their cover of Maroon 5's "Animals", which also featured a good amount of growling (not as much as this song, but still a decent amount).

Most of the brutal gutturals are Corpsegrinder, but I'm pretty sure the one at 4:08 is Spencer. He's got some CHOPS.

I’m not gonna lie, I paused it in disbelief. And then the breakdown ended and I knew it was my favorite track on the album
this one is brutal but i'm actually loving wurst vacation, the guy who does the (german accent) voice of the villain nailed it, the pre-choruses are great. also (as a hitchcock fan) i'm pleased with the shower scene, i'd thought they should include the famous line 'we all go a little mad sometimes' and they did!

I was so shocked to see a Corpsegrinder feature on the tracklist, and it did not disappoint. Honestly though for some reason Wurst Vacation and Farewell II Flesh are my favorites on the album. Farewell gets bonus points because I love Candyman.

Best song on the entire album. One of the few Corpsegrinder collabs to know how to use his vocals. (Years later I still laugh my ass off at the Hatebreed Collab)

I love how far the band got ever since my cousin Shawn bassinet died the lead bassist it’s kinda cool how for they got and I’m loving everyone that’s actually showing love to the band makes me cry because they got so much more people listening

I don't even know what to say. I had chills the entire time, and I straight up froze throughout that entire breakdown. 100/10

The chorus is strange, but damn did Corpsegrinder make this track his bitch! That guttural that starts the breakdown and then Fisher being Fisher. I'm glad INK got him to feature on this. With out him it seems like a less interesting Funeral Derangements.

Are you even aware that Ricky Armellino, the vocalist of freaking This Or The Apocalypse (TOTA) and HAWK is in this band? It baffles me that he stays so far out of the spotlight in this band. TOTA used to be my favorite band, partly because of his insane vocals!
Finally someone mentioned TOTA. Between them and Texas In July from Lancaster, I'd pick them anytime.

Dan and Ricky (the other guitarist) do screams live Dan usually does mids and some lows, Ricky does all the high backing screams that JD used to do in the old songs, but this is definitely my favorite off the album, all of them are awesome i think this is album of the year imo, but this song especially just because Corpsegrinder adds so much to it as if it wasnt amazing already lol
