    Can a person who has previously treated his aortic valve problem a few years ago is eligible to receive stem cell therapy (MSC )?

      There is no contradiction for stem cell therapy with prior surgeries and repairs. Please watch this video to understand the way stem cells work, then it would give you a better idea of how it would impact different conditions...

    So for the lay person you are saying that stem cells from the jelly of the umbilical cord would be considered generally safe as far as not promoting growth of a cancer you would currently have in your body? Also, are the studies that show that MSC promote cancer growth are those theoretical or clinical?

    • @JoyKongMD
      @JoyKongMD  6 месяцев назад

      Yes, MSCs from Wharton's jelly from the umbilical cord are considered generally safe and have been used to treat cancer in many scientic/basic and clinical studies.

    I was diagnosed with Waldenstroms Macroglobulinemia in October 2019, a chronic leukplasmacytic lymphoma.
    I was on “watch and wait” for 4 years but now cancer is progressing more rapidly to the point the oncologist is suggesting immunotherapy - Rituximab infusions to hopefully knock back IgM and give me more time. Do you think MSC treatment would be advised before doing that? Would there be a risk of increasing cancer cells? Perhaps I should get a consultation with you?

    • @JoyKongMD
      @JoyKongMD  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, we are in a somewhat uncharted territory in your situation, so it would be difficult and arrogant of me to predict what would happen if stem cell therapy is provided... knowing the mechanisms of action of stem cells, especially the type of stem cells we use (native, umbilical cord derived, MSC-rich stem cells), it can only help the body to repair and fight cancer. That said, a consultation would be helpful. You can contact our clinic at 818-356-8232 or email info@uplyftcenter.com. You can also send in a contact form at www.joykongmd.com/contact/.

      It can be quite helpful, even more helpful with the combination of modalities we use at our clinic that includes peptides, supplements, shockwave therapy and laser light therapy... we can also add stem cells as well which tend to produce longer lasting results than exosomes

    During my wife's annual mammogram, they found that she has a small (9mm) triple negative breast tumor and she's now scheduled for a lumpectomy in a few days. She also had two MRIs (Breast and Brain) and two body CT scans and everything else looked good. Because it was a triple negative tumor, they still want her to have chemo/immunotherapy over a 20-week period just to be safe. My question for you is when you would consider her ready to receive your umbilical cord stem cell therapy? Immediately after the chemo is finished, during the chemotherapy or some other time? Thank you so much for your help with this.

    • @JoyKongMD
      @JoyKongMD  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your question. I would definitely advise NOT to do any stem cell therapy during chemotherapy, because it is very likely the chemo agents would kill off the stem cells. After chemotherapy is completed and chemo agents are out of the body, that is a time that the body needs to repair, and when stem cell therapy can be an option to help assist the body to repair from the drastic damages caused by chemotherapy.

      @@JoyKongMD Dr Kong - I spoke with Dr. Gillenwater about my wife's upcoming stem cell therapy and she is also recommending a number of peptides. Would it benefit my wife to start some of those peptides now, while receiving chemotherapy, or would the chemo likely affect them the same way you said it would affect stem cells? Thank you.

      Cells all function similarly, even cross species, although I would advise to use human stem cells which will be the most similar to our own body of course. If you are interested in stem cell skin cream, the one I created called CharaOmni is the best I have seen on the market - human umbilical cord stem cells with many peptides and lots of herbal extracts... it is 100% natural. It's ironic that the FDA only approve using own stemcells for blod/bone marrow cancer patients after high dose chemo, if this cocktail actually can promote cancer (instead of using external stemcells)??
    Im a multiple myeloma patients from Denmark and we have the same protol here. Cart-T stemcell treatment has also being denied by the medical authorities, even though irs believed to be an actually cure for multiple myeloma, but i guess its because this treatment is very expensive.

    • @JoyKongMD
      @JoyKongMD  7 месяцев назад

      Approval process falls behind the progress of science - that is a common scenario. I hope you find the right treatment for me. My mother was able to overcome multiple myeloma at the age of 43 (a lot of the success is a result of boosting her own immune system from Chinese medicine and exercise) and was able to live to 75.

      While as a doctor, I cannot claim to treat any conditions without an FDA indication (in the case of Stem Cell Therapy, the only FDA approval is for chemo reconstitution in cases where the entire blood system is wiped out, usually in the case of blood cancer, or some autoimmune diseases), I have helped patients with multiple sclerosis with encouraging results. You can take a look at these 2 case studies published on American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy, both are patients I have treated. Hope you find this helpful.
