As an electronics tech working as NAS Alameda I repaired and calibrated various P3-C avionics. I later developed test program sets for testing on automated test equipment. My favorite job was at flight test where I could power up the APU and check out most of the systems (sans radar and radio). I loved engine run up with the beautiful sounds of the turboprops. It was a privilege to be a part of the P3 Weapons System Engineering Team.
