The thing with the edited floors. It is really good to use, but there are so many little things that can ruin a mission. You get Flingers, who will just fling husks at the objective causing it to fail. You get smashers who charge at the base and destroying the edited floors, causing it to fail. You get lobbers but lob at the objective and destroy the edited floors while they’re doing it (with the exploding skulls), causing it to fail. You have, my favourite, the PROPANES. If you get a propane wave, you’re basically SCREWED if you are underpowered. If you are the right level, you can kill the flingers, you can kill the lobbers etc but it’s very hard to do when you’re level 12 and in 140 missions, cuz even high level weapons won’t do a lot of damage. You could still use the edited floors in the 140 zones but you have to get very lucky on the waves you get. But most missions spawn in every husks (almost) anyways so it’s really hard. If you want to use the Uzzo bot, the best missions to do are missions where you don’t have to kill anything like a build the radar and a resupply. 140 kill missions are just going to be way too difficult on your own with the edited floors. Even I was struggling in the 140 zones with a whole team of level 50 players (including myself, as I’m level 50). So edited floors are good to use when you are the right level for the zone you’re doing it in but not really when you are underpowered like you are. Sorry for thus very long message, lol. If you want to do 140 missions it’s probably better to do them with someone who is the right level.
If you think about it, we have come full circle in terms of defending objectives, starting by spammimg builds to delay the husks (and wasting our materials), then people started realising the utility of traps and spammed them to hell (ceiling/freeze/electric field traps). Now, we spam builds again (edited floors specifically but oh well). It's very painful to play in pubs, watching players spam edited floors, only to fail from flinger/lobber spam. It's not fun...
@@milkyboi606 I know. I’ve been playing ventures with one of my mates so it was alright. But the matches we played on public or the matches I’ve done on my own with randoms man.. it just sucks. The whole point of the game is to build a base and just spamming floors isn’t really fun imo.
How well do high level anti-air work when your level is unbalanced like that? Can they do enough damage to break the skulls, propane, flung husks? (I'm assuming no on the husks) Balcony trick+flinger shield might help a lot even if it's expensive in resources. Maybe you can trap them in their spawn and cover it to where they can't fling things out?
Something I've learned with these higher level missions is to do multiple layers of the "edited floors," so that just in case one breaks, you would have another one. While farming in the mission to get higher level materials to craft traps to some that are to close. Its a process
I've been testing things. I did surprisingly well in a Rescue the Survivors. There's a few that are easy to do without combat. The radio tower. Ned/medkit, and the knocked ones that need a medbot and two bluglo. The ones where just a few husks spawn can be done too, if you have a tamed pet and a goin' commando build.
also the van survivors. build the zombies an easy path up to the survivor, and they will go to the survivor but can not damage it until they destroy the van
The new Lemming pathing is hilarious. With perimeter "fences", I've seen Husks walk around almost the entire objective, until they hit something and then turn around and go back the way they came. So you can have 2 long lines of Husks passing each other. In some cases, the end of the path takes them over a cliff or into a hole in the ground (I wonder if they would also jump off the edge of the map, like true Lemmings?). As noted, you have to get rid of the "spoilers", like Smashers and Lobbers and the occasional Husk that attacks the perimeter fence (Blasters seem to like to follow the path). It could be that (as in the old days), you would want to avoid killing any Husks, since they could be reincarnated as Smashers. (However, I have seen a Smasher Rush at the beginning of some games - and this is where you need a lot of friends. Or, perhaps you can set a perimeter of tar traps and air defenses within the fence?) The good news is that, even if you start killing troublemakers, the others will continue to follow the path. I would be curious as to how long a path could be and if they would run around the entire objective several times. (Could it be that the Husks have always just been into cardio?) One last trick - Husks seem to want to "follow the arrow". If you shoot an arrow behind them, they will turn around - sometimes even running away from you. But, as noted, all of this mostly helps you win missions at your level - by yourself or with another player. If you are going to use the Taxi, why not just pick a mission where you can mine resources? You should be able to pick up some pretty OP resources and weapons.
the lemming reference is a real throwback haha! but yeah I think you are about right, and those husks are deffo cardio freaks, you seen them skinny frames with the rib cages! All cardio no rest XD and I was just testing out the taxi service as well as the current floor bug, I plan on doing venture missions at my levels and then if I need XP to level up to unlock the next zone for the next set of missions I plan on using a taxi and doing a build the radar or resupply as I'll be able to complete them
What u gotta do to use the glitch is to make a sombrero shape not just the rim and to build giant staircases for a lobbed shields or scrap a few weapons to craft an anti air trap as lobbed skulls have 1 hp
On atlas missions you just need to do the normal cone build and they don’t attack unless its lobbers flingers propanes & smashers. Every other mission is the floors like u did in the video just try to do as many layers as possible. I would still just do the easy missions until u get anti airs and are able to kill the smashers though.
Just got a taxi and finished a 140 build the radar. It was the first time I have ever enjoyed that mission. Building the radars was a challenge because everything could 1 shot me and when I finished, I searched for chests/mats instead of getting bored, going to make a snack, and getting kicked for being AFK. I am level 22 (was at 19, I think) with a 119 Neon sniper, a 110 Pummeller, and a 114 Whirling Doom, and a bunch of high level materials for traps.
Just build pyramid around objective husks wont attack it but u have to deal with smasher propane and lobber and flinger but if u let balloon go down without shoot it down u should be ok
When ur doing the higher missions id recommend using a boar , go in basement with the boar and go afl for a while youll farm plenty of weapons and recources , juat make sure to build above u so the boar dosnt get interupted by the husks

I wonder if wildlife would help you or if their damage would be based on your level? What about a base? PL130 anti-air? I'm tempted to do this just to experiment. ooo, just going around to farm and find chests at that level would be insanely helpful. If you can get the materials then find the right vending machine maybe a high level xenon bow would be possible.
The floors were spot on, just add cones, and your base off to one side not on top. Smashers and flingers still need to be dealt with but normal husks will dance on top of the objective and despawn.
A few times this season there was a mytic lead reward in high level ventures a few friends ask me to carry them as I am level 58 but I dont know how. I though you had to set no fill but then they dont come along with you
Maybe this got patched or something because when I got the bot in my lobby, none of the higher level missions opened. The map didn’t change at all (am level 38 in ventures with 108 pl zones opened up) had the party on no fill, invite only also

He’s right. All you have to do is interact and it gives a a temporary speed boost. It doesn’t disappear but you can place a floor on it. I seem to get them near my objectives often so I’ve done it myself a dozen or so times.

I think the balcony trick breaks down when you get smashers, flingers, propane, etc. But it works fine for most other husks.
try to look for high level Build The Radars and Ressuplies mission so you can win the mission without shooting and when its 140 you get around 20k ish
