In the UK we call it a bobble or a fuzz-ball :) A pill, commonly known as a bobble or fuzz ball, is a small sphere of fibres that forms on knitted fabric. This occurs when clusters of short or broken fibres tangle into a tiny knot or ball, usually as a result of rubbing or abrasion. The electronic gadget is the one that works best, and it's gentle with the fabric. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for taking your time to make this video, and showing us different ways to fix our sweaters, big help. I used the razór and it worked great!!❤😊
I ust found you as I googled how to depill sweaters. I love this video. Please let me know if your Vasson depiller continued to work well for you. In my Amazon searches I have found most of these depillers do not last very long at all. How is the model you have doing, is it still working?
Hi! Yes the Vasson electric depiller continues to work well for me. However, I only use it about once a month so I'm not sure how it would hold up with heavy use!
Yikes. I did find that it caught any threads that are sticking out of the garment. So as I mentioned in the video you can avoid that by trimming off any existing snags or threads before using it.
So instead of my xlothes having all these pills on them my clothes are coming out faded and all the fibers arw jusr shedding off of them over qnd over. It never ends and its happenings to all our clothes even our bedding items. With any movement the fibers just keep flying off. Do you know what would cause this :(
Hello, if this is just starting to happen I wonder if something is malfunctioning with your washer? Or perhaps there was a change in the detergent and it's too harsh on your clothes. Hope you can figure it out!
I appreciate your question! This was not a sponsored video. I purchased it with my own money and am not being compensated by any of the brands I showed here.
Be VERY careful with the razor method, very easy to cut yarn, or nick it and create a tiny hole that ends up a big hole. Would not recommend the razor. The electronic depiller from amazon or wherever is with it, would invest a few extra dollars and get a nice one and not cheapest one as it will pay for itself quickly.

The electric depiler made a couple of holes in a favourite sweater so I'm hesitant to try it again.

Were you paid in any way to demonstrate the Vasson depiller?

I have accidentally shaved holes in my clothes with the razor. Sigh.
Oh bummer!

Yes, it doesn't seem worth it to me to use the razor since it also takes more time.
