Another good tip would be to wash similar textured fabrics together. For example don't mix towelling fabrics with smooth or delicate fabrics as it will cause it to pill really fast
Bought the Conair Fabric Shaver for about $17. Used the shaver to clear up my two Costco Patagonia knockoff jackets that had tons of pilling build up. Must say it worked great! Really cleared up all the pillings, took about 15 minutes total. The lint catch slot fills up quickly so you do have to empty it often. Incredibly happy with the results, my jackets look new again 😃👍

OK, so 50 years old and just learning lint removers exist. I searched this and was expecting someone taping a razor blade to an old toothbrush or something. I really enjoyed your video and personality. I then immediately worried about you when I realised where you are. Back in 1990, I took a gap year and travelled and met wonderful optimistic people in Beirut and met a few other travellings. They really believed the future was bright after the civil war and it is so very sad that they are still struggling with sectarian problems and corruption all these years later. It's a beautiful country with beautiful people. I wish you great happiness in the future.

I work in retail and me and one of my work colleagues were saying how we like the clothes we sell but never wear them/buy them because of the balls they get when you wash them. I just thought this happens with cheap clothing! I had no idea it was normal and removable!!
I really hope this works because whenever I wash my hoodies the lint appears on my clothing and I have sensory issues and whenever I wear them, it itches so much and I wanna cry- I’ll try it when I can lol and my mom uses beads instead of liquid detergent so I’m gonna nag her on that..lol
great advice but with a caveat. Using a lint roller its a downward spiral, it removes lint but leaves a somewhat sticky residue that then atracts more lint, then you use the lint roller again and the process continues...
I wear primarily black and deep reds. Lint and other pillings are so obvious and a big struggle. I would sit for HOURS picking them off by hand (I found this video while doing that).... thank god I don’t have to do that anymore

Will this work on polyester/spandex workout leggings? They’re super soft but I made the mistake of washing and drying improperly, and it caused it to have minor pilling and changed the texture of fabric completely! Would you say that this shaver will help it go back to being soft, pre-pill?
I grew up with one in the household ... I'm 40... these are old news. The problem is they're not marketed next to other laundry items in most department stores... or at least that's what most of you probably think... look again the problem isn't that they're not there, it's that they're not PROMINENTLY there.
Guys you don’t have to spend a lot money and waste your time buying one of those. A simple razor, yes the same one you use to shave you’re legs, works just fine. I literally just used a razor and it works amazing, surprisingly.

I’ve had problems using a razor on nice pieces of clothes and 10$ is worth a little peace of mind (and the cost of a new pair of pants that the razor ruined). To each their own! So I'm super careful with my T-shirts, wash them inside out in cold water and drip dry only but they still develop some pilling.
I have the same issue with some of ny shirts as well. Its because of the materials and friction. But much less than not doing the little tips
