- Napoli suffered an red card followed by a goal from Miralem Pjanic, only for Pjanic to later recieve a red of his own. Napoli pulled a goal back but was not enough to stop Juventus from increasing the gap at the top of the table.

The more Juventus games I’ve watched this year, the more I realize Cristiano needed Real Madrid as much as they needed him. They complimented each other perfectly. Real Madrid create so many chances every game but have no one to finish. Juve on the other hand are too slow, defensive, scrappy. They score a goal then try to defend the rest of the game. They are a very boring team to watch. In the past TWO games alone, Cristiano hasn’t even had ONE chance to score a goal. Not a cross. Not a pass. Not a through ball. Nothing. Think about that. Unfortunately, nobody won in this divorce.

I completely agree. The problem here is the manager, Allegri, with his defensive gameplay and tactics which do not suit Ronaldo. Fortunately next season Zidane will probably come to Juve and it will be a totally different game!

I'm not gonna even attempt to say I'm fully up to date with Italian football in general, but I watched a Juventus highlights game about two weeks ago & their stadium definitely had empty seating all around.
And that's a team full of well known, super stars.

I don’t see why people are protesting the GK red card, same as I don’t understand refs who don’t whistle for that.
People who don’t jump like Ronaldo did might end up with a twisted ankle, and if that’s the case the tackler would’ve deserved his red card according to almost everyone, but why not when the tackled player jumps in order to protect himself and his career because clearly that’s not what the tackler cares about?...punishment should be according to intentions not results.

@real madrid Their first two goals were deflections in that game, Ronaldo scored a deflected goal and then Mandzukic equalized with what was arguably the greatest goal in a UCL final ever (until Bales goal a year after) and then Casemiro hit a massively deflected shot and it went centimeter perfect into the net... there was just no stopping Real that day as they were far too lucky... Real Madrid is one of the best teams in the world anyways but when they also get lucky, its game over.

Stats don’t show which teams play more defensively. If you think La Liga is more defensive then you probably don’t keep up with Serie A. I watch both and Serie A is harder regardless of how many goals they score.
This is 2019 not 2008, Serie A might be more defensive but La Liga defences are now better. Coming from a guy that's been supporting Inter since 2006.
