    I am Italian and I still needed the subtitles 😂(they were speaking in strict Calabrese dialect.. love it!)

      @@exiiiceee the older sisters took over from their aunt. The mother and daughter bakers mentioned the grandmother (mom's mom). Thus keeping the tradition and passing it down. Hope that clarified my comment

    What a distinct variety of the Italian languages! It almost sounds like a Portuguese speaker picking up Italian and then during the first stages of acquisition. Very cool.

    i remember those two old ladies, i remember the free tastes while waiting to be served. I cannot forget half a fresa tested after the first cooking...amazing place.

    Cerchiara paese meraviglioso, ah come mi manca l'Abisso del Bifurto, il Caldanello e quel pane. E mi ricordo una volta una di quelle due signore anziane che mi offri' una fresa caldadopo la prima cottura mentre aspettavo il pane.

    The Calabrese to me sounded a bit like that was the Italian version of the Azorean accent compared to Portuguese of the continent.

    At 5:17, when the old lady says "pepperoni", does she mean pepperoni the sausage known in the U.S., or does she mean peperoni, the plural of peperone, i.e. bell peppers ?

    I really think the annoying beat tracks played over the ENTIRE VIDEO really takes away from what could be a cool look into another culture. Like, it’s a food channel but we’re cool so there must be hip hop in every fucking episode??

    I'm sorry, what's the big deal about them being women? almost all the bread makers I know are women who are both workers and owners of the establishment, their husbands usually work FOR them. Aside from this fact, nice bread, I would like to try it one day.
