I laughed at the blackhead remover , I am a former Clinical Nurse coordinator at one of the largest burn centers in the US. I trained in Scotland and we burn nurses love getting our hands on anything to do with the skin 😂 Good to see all the bargains, I’ll be in Scotland for a vacation soon and might need an extra suitcase!
Helen, for a quick "whizz round" you got some lovely things, lots of strange but useful things too. The trays for putting opened packs of ham in, air fryer trays, all such useful things and I love the sturdy little pancake flipper - I have one and used it today! My favourite item was the drinks trolley, (bring on some good weather) but I really loved the amazing plant with white starburst flowers! PS I have rewound your video and found the name of the scalp treatment - must try it!

Heck if I'm going to be roped down to making him lunch everyday!!! No way!! I was also surprised at the cheap price of Dolly's chewies; here, the bag of dog treats at TJ maxx is always $4.99 or 5.99. 50 p each is wonderful!! Love the drinks cart!!😊

If he just showed up at a local club let them get him started. Bridge is BIG in your area. My goodness The Isle of Wight is well known for their bridge skills and producing some very fine players. This is known far and wide. I think there are 2-3 clubs Isle of Wight. In your immediate area I will check that out. Bridge Players are the nicest people and I'm sure both of you or maybe just Rob would love it. In bridge you always want to surround yourself with really good strong players. Isle of Wight has them. Flip Helen I could never go shopping with you! You're a whizzer like my late sister! She could do shops at breakneck speed dragging me along with her. Like you she could make very quick decisions while I dithered. I really enjoyed all your discoveries. I'm a bag fanatic so it would definitely be HA for me! I used to be like you Helen, would get a right buzz at baggin a bargain. Until I realised I’d be buying some things JUST because it was reduced. I’ve learned my lesson now to only buy things that I actual want or need. xx
Thanks Helen. The best thing I find for itchy hair (or skin) is rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar that has been diluted in water. Actually, I rinse my hair and whole body once a week. I swear by it.
You find such good things in TKMaxx. I don’t know about you but I got the M&S ketchup and found it a bit bitter which probably means it hasn’t got as much sugar in it as the Heinz. Ahh the joys of retirement and settling into a new routine, especially when you go food shopping and get quizzed as to why you buy a certain product and prices are compared😂.The drinks trolley is definitely coming indoors at Christmas, I can just see it with the drinks, fairy lights, cocktail shaker and a few nibbles😊. Itchy scalp, recently asked my dermatologist about this (I was getting allergy tested, again) he said it’s usually because the water is too hot and dries out the scalp causing a reaction, so turned the temp down and it worked mind you I have stopped using products with parabens and sulphites so who knows😂.
There must be a word for those of us who have this buying handbag problem, didn’t realise it was so common 😂. Love that drinks trolley what a bargain, was in Hedge End yesterday but only quick trip to M and S I had “him indoors” with me ❤

Hi Helen Funny you should mention an itchy scalp as I have also. The up circle shampoo cream is excellent for an itchy scalp and they all do conditioner. I have been using this for 6 months and find this brilliant so give it a shot. They do a refill system for this as you have got the glass or it came in. I have the skin care range as I find it good and that’s made out of used coffee beans. They have been on this morning when Phill and Holly used to host it. We use them all the time for my many candles and for this colourful lantern I light when watching tv. They are handy. Nice you have lovely garden furniture I need to replace mine but can’t find what I want and if I do I almost need to take out a mortgage. Lol. Crazy how expensive it is to dress up your outside. For now it will be my lovely flowers making it cozy. Went to the beach today we are surrounded in the Great Lakes here in Canada. I have 3 lakes surrounding our city. Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Lake Ontario. We have many to pick from. Gorgeous day today. No humidity which we often get.

I am away at moment cruising around the icebergs in Greenland…quite wonderful actually. I can’t watch your videos from our ship, just the transcripts so haven’t commented. Can’t wait to catch up when we get home… pathetic aren’t I ? I miss seeing them Helen but this is a wonderful trip.

Nice to see you Helen in your red shirt. I love red but can’t wear it clashes with my hair. I love to pick up the long matches if I see it. We use them all the time for my many candles and for this colourful lantern I light when watching tv. They are handy. Nice you have lovely garden furniture I need to replace mine but can’t find what I want and if I do I almost need to take out a mortgage. Lol. Crazy how expensive it is to dress up your outside. For now it will be my lovely flowers making it cozy. Went to the beach today we are surrounded in the Great Lakes here in Canada. I have 3 lakes surrounding our city. Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Lake Ontario. We have many to pick from. Gorgeous day today. No humidity which we often get.
Oh that sounds lovely. I always buy garden furniture in Costco, it lasts forever. Expensive, but stands the test of time xx

Hi Helen. I think I must be very nosey by nature as I love to see what people have bought when they go shopping ! To be honest, many of the stores you mention don’t exist here in Greece apart from M&S and Lidl and I do miss the huge choice and bargain prices. The drinks trolley is fabulous and only £48- wow!
