    I love the process of flattening the bananas. In the Philippines, there is a version of this called, MARUYA.

      What does it mean in english? In Indonesia and malaysia it's called "Pisang Goreng" or simply fried banana

      @@SherlockMoriarty It’s just banana dipped in batter and fried. God bless!

    Dear,
    It looks good.. I think they use flour, sesame seed and baking powder..
    I use to mix flour with rice flour. Ratio 4 cups flour :1 cup rice flour.. Add a quarter tea spoon of baking soda, plus sesame seed which is optional..the reason why we add rice flour is to make it slightly crispy... Enjoy it with tea or hot coffee... Wow

      Oh yes we do, we even understand more further by coating the fritters with chocolate, cheese, caramel sugar and also dip them with our traditional dipping sauce which is sweet and spicy dark soy sauce only in Malaysia. please come over to try our unique multicultural food cuisine. 😊

    In the Philippines, we also kinda have something like that which is shaped like a fan, hence the name pinaypay. Instead of squishing it to make it bigger, we "fan" it out and dip in batter before frying.

      Here in Malaysia,we use rice flour... added with a bit of sugar and salt...a pinch of limestone paste( we called it as Kapur sireh).....mix all of them... remember to add some water... drinking water will do...but not too much...the mixture must be thick...so that it'll stick to the banana when you dip your banana into it...

    • @TheLYNNZE
      @TheLYNNZE 4 года назад +2

      We do have a ready made flour by the brand called 'Adabi' ...it's a very famous local brand here...you can just simply add water to the flour...and start dipping your banana into it...then fry your banana...
