It was among plants in a tributary of the river Rhine. If the sun wasn't at the perfect angle, the wind wasn't blowing ideally and the current wasn't right, I couldn't see it for hours. Only rarely did it reflect. It still works perfectly and I hope it stays that way. Was able to get it out four days ago and it cost me a lot of nerves and strength. I could not believe my eyes when I finally got it back in my hands. So awesome...Never give up!

@@cyclicwavves you should definitely wait a few hours to make sure that the connection for the charging cable is no longer wet. You can wait 24 hours if you can stand it that long . It might be quicker when the outside temperature is warm.

It’s not waterproof learn how to differentiate between resistance and water proof this 14 pro max can be dropped in a pool or similar depth 10ft give or take without any damage but you can’t go scuba diving with it nor is it supposed to be functioned with underwater like all these morons are doing by showing it can take pics etc. it’s so if you accidentally drop it in a pool etc or jump in body of water not realizing and for that it’s excellent no long term effects

Even though it’s rated to a certain depth. If they find any signs of water damage at the apple repair they nullify your warranty and refuse to repair/replace it. Can confirm haven’t submerged my 14pm and it died.
My 14 pro max just died in water 4 days ago. First message was that camera was not a genuine part, then phone kept turning off and on by its self. After about 20min of this, it stayed off and a couple nights in a bag of rice didn’t save it. Looking for a place to pull pictures from the ssd.

Well.. I have the 14 pro max. Yesterday, I dropped in briefly( 2-5secs) in the sink while water was running. My phone didn’t charge for a whole day.. not even with a wireless charger. The screen worked but I kept getting a message popped up when I tried to connect a charger it says water is detected. The screen was laggy too.
