Cyberpunk shows how depth and detail is overlooked by most fans. GTA 5 works better for sure, it also looks very plain and has very simple textures, while cyberpunk is too complex for it's own good, those 2013 consoles just can't hack it.

One main thing I noticed between the 2 maps is the overall feel of the map. In GTA when im exploring I feel very tall, large, and open. With Night City I feel small, and closed off. This is probably because of the condensness of Night City and the fact you spend most of your time on the ground with giant structures all around you. I dont think i ever felt this feeling of being a small human in a world in any other game. Anyone else feel this way when comparing the 2?
I just realized: GTA V had a first person mode with the PS4 and XBOne. Taken together, GTA is the present and Cyberpunk is the future and they both have a similar feel

The scale of night city feels like an actual city while gta feels like an abridged city.
But the sad thing is you can’t enter a lot of the buildings in night city. Kinda disappointed
@@strawhatsgear5th yeah but cdpr has the option to keep adding dlc content to fill out some of the buildings that aren't accessible. I think it's pretty likely, given that there doesn't seem much scope to expand outwards for DLCs.
@@strawhatsgear5th You can't enter most of the buildings in GTA either.
@@JETZcorp 8 year old game
@@strawhatsgear5th Can't enter most of the buildings in RDR2 either. 2 year old game. Making every building in an open-world city visitable is insane - we're not there yet.
Cyberpunk is a fantastic game, hurt by its own hype and publisher/developer lies.
And a pretty buggy mess
I have to say. I'm from Poland and i Play with Polish dubbing and it makes dialogues way better than in English version. When CD Project will fix some bugs and npc reactions it might be one of the best storytelling and sandbox RPG game.
@Itch-HeSay people are loving it because of this futuristic vibe, so remove that and you will find trash lol
@@ichbinhier355 That's like saying remove the guns from GTA and you got a boring sims game.
A little upset that it’s been almost a week since I’ve requested a refund from GOG and still have not heard back.
@SIN SIN lmao laugh at my pain but I’m happy for all of PlayStation players rn.
Same bro
New mod goal, GTA 2077....
The NPCs and cars driving around cyberpunk does keep pulling me out of the game just doing stupid crap or not reacting at all
I literally have been down every street in gta v and I could get anywhere easily without a map. But night city seams sooo deep that I’m not sure I’ll get to that level
Cyberpunk - trash AI , beautiful but lifeless world , less interactivity than they promised. Good story.
All three life-paths are basically street kid, not the lies they made most people believe with the fake trailer montages.
The AI is really good for an rpg, world has tons of life and a dynamic storyline. If you don’t like it stop complaining about it and play something else.
@@feraligtr3151 No it's not....
@@riopittful Yes it's is.
Lifeless world? LOL.
Cyberpunks soundtrack be HITTING
Rockstar made it work on an Xbox 360 ffs they’re on a different level period..
One have been doing this type of games for the past decade
The other is, his first try in open world city game
still, doesn't excuse the poor ps2 era NPCs
Past 2 decades
CD Projekt Red is a company, not one man.
CDPR is also an Indie dev. I dont think people know that though
@@PuppetMaster-Blade lol the CEO of CDPR is literally a billionaire ( or was until their stock price plummeted for obvious reasons), do you know what is an indie dev?
Why GTA 5 is great: Because it literally lets you do anything, it’s beautiful, it’s got a great story, it isn’t very buggy, it’s more immersive, you can realistically do realistic crap, it still manages to destroy games released 7 YEARS after it, not to mention so much more, and of course…Trevor is a character.
Why Cyberpunk is great: It has a story that isn’t terrible, and on PC it is actually a nearly decent game.
In my opinion, GTA V has a terrible story that doesn't give me any dialogue choice, character creation or even simple RPG mechanics whatsoever (does it have branching storylines? I don't know because GTA never interested me). And I liked the world-building and aesthetics of Cyberpunk 2077 a lot more. It definitely could have used more interactivity but I didn't mind because I don't bother with those things anyway.
One is actually a fun and engaging world filled to the brim with easter eggs, non-player quests to find, and cool gear, the other is Los Santos.
honestly don't know how they're going to fix the AI, basically all of them are broken and bad .. which is ironic, you know .. in a tech game about the future
Doubt it would be that difficult. Probably a month or two long task if they focus on it. That and fixing the wanted system. The ai foundation is already there, they just need to make it more reactive, diverse, and random.
It'll be fixed by next Christmas.... maybe
@@XtheroCKER21X expect them to delay it few times since that update will get released when it’s ready 🙃
@Baxi Tabaxi I dunno man I mean they did earn half a billion dollars from sales, which they said will be more than enough to fix the issues the game has.
Also a massive part of GTA included vehicle combat and shooting out of cars... something that’s completely absent from Cyberpunk excluding a few on rails shootouts.
In defence of CP this was basically cpdrs first modern open world and r* has perfected its world design for literally 20 years. For a first modern city world cdpr did great
Exactly , its stupid to compare it to rockstar, because Rockstar is on higher level.
Los Santos is better. Night City just feels like one big decoration.
Keep your expectations low you wont be disappointed 😇

I would look more into the background of the companies where the game came from and compare the experience and similarities.
Modders 100% gonna add Anita: Battle angel
And some ghost in the shell shit
And some blade runner shit
Alita* but yes I can see that, also Blade Runner
And some akira shit
@@j0seph672 Duuuude, how long until we see a mod to make tail lights leave trails at night? That would be SICK in Cyberpunk!
