Great video! That’s why I do my best to stock the pantry with homegrown food. Hahaha, “I do use fertilizer” Need to get Back to bartering, I do with my neighbors. TFS 😊
Man, I don't think I could really add on to what you talked about. Food deserts, DG's killing off local grocery stores (wife's a manager of DG and the stuff corporate talks about is insane), pesticides that runoff and mess with bird eggs. I live along the Susquehanna in PA and as a kid we had a whole big study on how a pesticide decimated the local bald eagle population. Couldn't nest with their eggs without crushing them. Today, I look out my apartment balcony and can sometimes see a pair of Bald Eagles sitting on our power line tower. Change can happen, it's just ponderously slow. Money in politics is one of the worst things that ever happened. It's literally the adage "Money talks and bull sugar walks"
Also, the Ingles Distribution Center was wiped out. If you shop Ingles for exclusive items, GET IT NOW! There Won't Be Any Restocking for the SE. There WILL be shortages SOON. Blessings from Linda in mid GA.
FYI: Ingles Supermarket and Distribution Center in Ashville NC was hit by the hurricane. All Ingles stores are now only excepting CASH and CHECKS ONLY! All credit/debit payments cannot be processed until further notice. I don't know about ABT payment.
Speaking of food supply ; I’m reminded every time I go out in public that clearly there’s no food shortages. A processed food shortage would do most the folks I encounter some physical good. Their wallets as well. It must cost a lot of money to stay fat.
@@CollegeHillFarm it’s been awhile, I avoid them. It’s absolutely stunning to me how massive (individual size) 1/2 the US population has become. When I was a kid, what we see now, you paid to see in circus freak shows. Now it’s everywhere for free. I’d hate to be a healthcare professional. Stuff that wouldn’t ordinarily be a challenge to work on must be worsened.
@@Mudcat86 the diseases and so forth associated with obesity put a drag on the system in so many regards. I just had major shoulder surgery. If I was in poor health or obese, as challenging as recovery was for a fit guy, can’t imagine if I was the opposite of that how much more challenging recovery post op would be.
these are the type of influencers we need , I am 24 from South Africa and I feel that we need to relook the way we live and consume.
yes we do

It's good that its Americanized Chinese food here. A friend had worked in China before the thing and said the food was awful.
We love our little Chinese Buffet

Another good reason to keep a reserve of cash on hand.

No actually it is cheaper to be fat. Have you been to an organic food store?

Maybe it would be cheaper to be fat if we could get that universal Healthcare you're asking for.
