For an SFM looking animation, I was really enjoying it. I really did for the most part. But out of god damn no where, Octavia is recruited for some star treck ship. You cant establish a theme like that, and then suddenly go science fiction on us the last minute.
I get where you're coming from. It is abrupt. But there is a reason for that. The story itself was always meant from the beginning to tie-in with my sci-fi series, The Fleeting Light. Essentially it's the story of how she's recruited. (If you look in the background there are actually pieces from the star ship the Mafia are smuggling, kind of an easter egg/foreshadow.) That being said, could I have gone smoother on the transition? Maybe. Could I have explained it more? Probably. It was intended to be a time skip. And with a magical world like this, who's to say they couldn't make space tech this early? This was really a way for me to "promote" the series. Yes, it wasn't executed as well, but I was happy with the result. The theme will be more solid here on out.

Well you can see it from the Equestria world perspective. In Equestria during MLP-FiM you can see different timeframes running through each other. The fancy pantsy present world of Las Pegasus, the more 60/70's style of Manehattan, the Wild West era in Appleloosa, the 18th century era in Canterlot mixed with some aristocrasy elements of the 19th. century and so on. This video can also be a reflection of it. 40 or 50's Manehattan with things of our present time (cell phone, drones, mini gun) and then into a top secret Equestrian project supervised by Princess Celestia herself. Anyway I love it and I can't wait for the Fleeting Light series.

I have an idea for a romance story with Lyra and Bon Bon. The story takes place during WW2, about 1 week before the landings in Normandy, and Bon Bon, is worried about Lyra, who was drafted in the armed forces a year earlier. I’ll let you add more to the story, if you decide to make it of course.

This was great, but a minor critique. When the pony (6:13) refers to his "tommy gun," he is actually referencing the Thompson 45-cal. Submachine Gun. Yet he is clearly holding an M16 Semi-Automatic rifle.
Your style meshing is good as always. Few slips here and there, but who is perfect around here? ;) And I'm seeing things are coming together for a certain Starship. Is this in anyway connected with Project Valiance? Or is that thing just gonna be left on a cliff hanger?

I wonder how much more difficult it would be to implement a tranq gun into the patrol bot? That would be very effective for suppressing intruders. I know, I know. It can't do that because it would derail the plot and the bad guys win. I get it.
I've explained it to some that have asked already, but I'll explain it to you as well. The short answer was that I just didn't want to continue the story. I felt unsatisfied with it and wanted to try other stories at the time and branch out. The Fleeting Light, even though it is a completely new story, is me trying to get back into that storytelling though, now that I have the skills and knowledge to do it better, something I didn't have back in 2015.

This? This is exceptional. itsannachloem's singing and voice acting hooked me IMMEDIATELY. The story was engaging, Vision's decidedly unique animation style put it all together in all the best ways - obviously, since I follow this channel for the awesome artistic aesthetic - and it's a testament to what a great concept can be if given the right focus of talent. Bravo, bravo! Happy to see this conti ... whups. No spoilers! ... we need to get you more subscribers, Vision. People want to see this - they just need the RUclips algorithm to stop being a complete fucked-up bitch.
Not bad animation wise, but the rendering is horrible and the direction is lacking, things aren't smooth enough. The opening credits looked like they could've been done a lot cooler too, placing the texts inside the scene instead of merely overlaid.
