Now that you've mentioned it I'm not too sure either, it could be because this was a custom order as I've opted for a couple of their upgrades and it came straight from their factory. However it was ordered off of Lenovo's AU website so I'm not too worried about that, the laptop has been running great!

I thought these X1 carbons came in a secondary paper shell between the box spacers. I wonder why yours didn't have that.
