Their loops are very similar yeah, and funnily enough I actually play both of them lol. I'm trying to pick up garnet but I can't quite get the feel for her unfortunately
They're REALLY frame tight now but still possible, definitely not something worth going for online, just stick to the simple juggles. Down air / nair loops still work and rocket can still combo into up air at kill percents
@@jar9074 That's probably his most reliable kill confirm for sure, hard to DI out of due to how quick the Down Air is so unless they're already holding away it's pretty much guaranteed
Please tell me how you perform that Down Air without any fastfalling whatsoever I'm on pc, so I have to press S then J, but no matter what, I always do a very slight fastfall right at the beginning of that down air unlike yours Is it only possible on controller? oh and if so, what do you think of the alternative of jumping between each Dair and Nair (Dair reaching to the ground instead of slightly above the ground)
It might only be possible on Controller due to using the right stick for aerials, it's especially nice if you use claw position on controller. As for jumping between the Dair and Nair, it's feasible but very finicky to follow up from unless you're going into juggles with up air
@@GameStrikerX2 in the settings you can optimise your options with your bumper and trigger buttons, that you can do these combos very easily without playing claw but great video! it was very helpful and 1 combo is good even after the nerfes
@@itsv3xxi909 Honestly yeah that's much easier for people who either don't use claw or simply can't (it's definitely not good for the hands during long play sessions) I've used claw for a while though even in smash so I've kind gotten use to it lol
How are you able to do the air down mallet into his air neutral without landing on the floor after the down mallet and doing a neutral ground attack instead?
It depends on your distance from the ground, it's something you need to visually react and adjust to, if you're touching the ground at the end of the animation, going for up tilt is better, but if you're even slightly above the ground at the end of the down air you should be able to combo into neutral air from low to mid percents
@@sahfyl I didn't even know you could click R3 to nair, never actually tried that before, I probably wouldn't do that either way (though I do use the right stick for the other 3 directions) but having that option is nice!
That’s why I was having such hard time the frames are different I was in training for like a hour trying the combos and hit it like once 😂😂

U can also use ur right stick on your controller (if ur using one) flick down (dair) and click in r3 (nair)
