I really enjoyed that tim. Were coming over to los cristianos on wednesday for a 3 day break . Were going to come to the village to check out a villa were thinking of renting next year for a family holiday next year for my mums 80th. The village has more than enough going on. Looks fantastic and as long as theres somewhere to watch the footy then alls good. Lol

I remember Lee, The MacMaster, telling me that static shots are better than moving shots and if you put this little camera on top of a monopod, it’s very unobtrusive and it follows you

The Mynd Hotel is the one we have stayed at for our last 3 holidays. Can definitely recommend it.
Near is the Riu Buenavista. It's Not in calvaje but you can even See it from the beach shown in Video. Awesome Hotel.

Hi Tim, great video and its given us plenty of inspiration for our visit in April. One question is it still easy to change £ Notes to Euros with cash in the area? Rather than using the ATMs. Ive not been back since 2018. Many thanks.
I’m not sure to tell the truth I’m just asking a few people I know and they say if you do get to exchange it here it’s not a good rate and they say go into town los Cristianos or los Americas. I think the hotels might offer an exchange, but I don’t know the rate.
@@TimothyDowd Los Americas was easy to change money. I'll plan on just mainly using the cards this trip. I always liked cash on holiday as it was easier to budget.
Cards are accepted almost everywhere even for small amounts like two euros and you get the best exchange rate from your bank on the day. If a bar or restaurant does not take a card or tells you the card reader is broken today go to another place because they’re ripping you off.
And always paying euros never pay in your home currency as they give you the worst rate
Hi staying there few weeks is t easy to get buses to las Americans and los cristianos?
Takes about an hour
Not sure if we were just unlucky or we're just fussy (we're not really) or if there is another reason (dont want to be unfair), but we really struggled with the restaurants (we tried) in Callao Salvaje. We're looking to return so we'll have to give them a concerted effort next visit.
Sorry to hear that, I recommend Little Germany, Sangri-la, rincón de criollo, Masala, Callao Street, tapas boutique, nebula and Don Pepe…
