I’m also learning how is sing and I’m loving it so much. This year is the beginning of my story. I hope everyone else succeeds and most importantly, have FUN!!!! 😄🎹🎼
@@anshikakarki324 Well as a guitarist i would say first learn basic chords ( g chord,e minor,E, A , etc). Then find easy songs with those chords and learn those easy songs. ALSO i do recommend buying a capo,i use to not have one and couldnt play some songs i wanted to play.
I think most people have a natural aversion to doing these kinds of things, but I’m a strong believer that anyone can achieve anything if they are willing to do anything and they plan their strategy out like this. Great video.
Thanks! Indeed....most artistic types generally don't feel comfortable with reaching out and - in particular - marketing themselves, but it's just something that needs to be done. Most people let that discomfort stop them, which seals their fate, really.
Before you write the main part of you email or ask anyone to check out your work, in general. Write a sentence or two that simply acknowledges that whoever reading the email is a human being. If you don't, you just sound like another person who is in a race to make it and using them as a step. Also having a proper email signature at the bottom of you emails makes you appear more professional and slightly gives you a little creditability that you're serious about this. You'll get less responses if you don't make/include on VS. if you had one with all the usual information you would include in an email signature. Internships go a long way if you are wanting to network and make connections. Almost every job related to audio in some way, revolves around networking and reaching out to people. Consistently (shows commitment) going to events and meeting people face to face is very valuable. Monthly shows and all of that. Once they view you as a familiar face, they are more likely to say hello and talk to you. You don't know who knows who. Like in LA, everyone knows somebody. But always aim to be their friend first and barely even mention what you two do every day (music), they will appreciate that and find it to be refreshing for once. Like the person that walks up to you at the show you go to consistently, might run the show and be a label owner too. Toward the end of the casual conversation and barely talk about music, they might be like "Hey do you make music? Word, send me some demos, here I'll give you my contact info." People will sometimes put you on, because you sound like a genuinely good person and you're not trying to leach off of them.
I loved this video. I think in reference to getting paid to do remixes, I guess that depends on the genre, if you make synthwave will anyone ask you to remix them lol??
Thats really gave me a idea. Clearly, is not a easy journey how it looks. But with charism, will and tries everything is possible. Never give up and try to interact with producers and be even more better in producing is the best way to get fame!
Just a bit of advice I might be able to give, you should drop some money, doesn't have to be much, on a professional photoshoot. It doesn't seem like much but labels pretty much ignore all musicians without professional photos on their socials.
Thank you for this video !❤...I'm gonna keep working hard, don't ever give up your dreams.... And if you pass that bus stop, tell that bus to turn right back around !!!

Hey Will, could you make a video on how an international artist can get signed by a label and name labels who still sign international artists? It'd be really helpful Thanks❤️
Hey. I once saw a video of a manager from a record label and they said that one of the worst things that u can do, it's conntact them, they prefer see your music by finding it. BUT I ACTUALLY HAVE NO IDEA. I get you I wanna be a singer as well either aas good as dua lipa (because she is amazing) or like "girl band" like little mix.
Yh me too. But I wanna be in a girl group of 4 and be one of the biggest and legendary girl group of all time. I’m from London and I’m 16 Rn and would you like to be in a girl band ?
I am 14 years old currently making my first ever track with a producer who helped people like ed sheeran, U2 and other people I know this will turn out well and i will make it too the top I also want to get signed by Atlantic records or warner records.
Wonderful advice! I just wanted to say, I got signed by MOJOHEADZ RECORDS. They are mainly an electronic/EDM label, but it seems like they are trying to expand into other genres as well (because I mostly create hip-hop). My next move: make some dope EDM/hip-hop hybrid Music
It is perplexing because record labels say "dont email us we will find you" but how the heck would a record label find an artist if he/she doesn't introduce themselves? what I realized is that you need a great great network otherwise it just not worth the try.
Hi Blossella! My advice would be to collaborate with someone who can play an instrument, and you can make a demo together. That's what I did when I started...a couple of my friends at school could sing, so I made music with them.
@@blossomdarlington You would have to choose your own beat of your choice that you like and fits your song, the studio engineer just records the song for you!
