Thanks for bringing us along with you to the brocantes, Jane and Tony! Those wooden floors in that chateau were lovely- they will be incredible once they’re restored and polished. Good to see our sweet Patrick and Stuart out and about with you guys!
Glad you enjoyed it Nanette, I've never seen a bowl like that before, that would make sense, though wouldn't they have had lumps of sugar then? I think it came in a solid cone in Victorian times, which is why they had sugar "nips" to break bits off.
Well we were invited to Lalande and have met Stephanie and Philip a couple of times, so it was lovely to bump into them here, but it was great to make a fuss of Galahad he's adorable
Thankyou for taking us along with you to the Brocannte's Jane and Tony. I really enjoy them and love to see the stalls and the variety of treasures to be had. I love to see the towns and architecture too. Thankyou again ❤
Jane & Tony The chateau has lovely big windows and lots of beautiful paneling woodwork. The floor is beautiful. The piano music that was playing was lovely too. A lot of work to maintain it I love visiting the french brocante fairs and antique fairs with you.
I love a good brocante Jane! I wish we had those where I live, I'd go to them all! It was nice to go the antique fair and see Patrick and Stuart as well! No doubt you'll have a great looking, functional laundry room when Tony is done.
Amazing to see roses still in full bloom in October. I've got a couple in my garden too, very late. Thanks for the interesting sights Jane. I haven't been to a single brocante this year!😢
I love seeing what the stalls are selling. I live in Halifax, N.S. and if you go to a yard sale everything is usually newer and other peoples junk but over there it's antique and other people's junk. lol I much prefer antique. I love your videos.
That chateau is lovely not hard one to fix if any of the lower is the worst of the home I don't know about the upstairs it's lovely. A dresser and dressing table were the only interest for me.
Hi again Jane and Tony, I just love watching and listening to your commentary when you’re out and about at the Brocante’s. When Tony is always walking ahead and browsing it reminds me of Royalty like when Prince Philip always walked a few paces behind the Queen, except in this case the roles are reversed.😄 I liked those door knockers that Tony was looking at. The utility room will be very interesting to watch and I’m sure it will make a big difference for you Jane. 😘🇨🇮
I do not think the glass bowl with lid and spoons are for caviar - you would use spoons made of bone/shell or horn, but anyway then you would fill it up with ice and place the caviar in a assiette on top to keep it cool. And the decorated pans are for bain marie 😊 love to see the broad range of stuff in the same brocane/antique fair
Too many beautiful things! I would have to have bought the petite gramophone and some frames..! That blue velvet lounge is divine! Loved the candle sticks so pretty bit a bit expensive for me. Tony man of my own heart at the bargain table LOL I would have bought the tray at the back & the plates, the little white vases were sweet! Id have bought! Great bargains, You're not buying or on the look for anything Jane?
I'm always on the lookout Jane, but prices were high at that one, so many beautiful things there, ahhh, if money was no object my house would be full of those antiques LOL
@@notquiteachateaudiy oh I see, I understand.. so tempting .. Yes .. Do you ever go to Emaues? not sure of spelling .. brocantes or charity type shops?
They are usually advertised as a Brocante on the Brocabrac website Ian, although some of them are definitely vide greniers ( empty attic) I agree, more like a UK car boot sale, the other one was a Salon d'antiquities (antique fair) We do also have Brocante shops yes.
No Christel, we soon realised it was too much work along with all the renovations, I did make a video a while back explaining that but I guess you missed that one. Our friends' son bought our share of the restaurant and they are still running it very successfully, so we still get our Fish and Chips regularly too!
That chateau interior made me think of Del Boy when he said in an episode (might have been the Chandelier disaster episode), he says to the lady of the house…… “I bet you’ve held a few Balls in here M’Lady” 😂
Just a suggestion….. Jane if you took more care when you are videoing (angles, excessive movement etc) and better editing, I believe you would attract more subscribers and viewers.

The gardens of the second chateau were very beautiful,
with lots of trees and happy birds chirping, a perfect place for the antique fair.
It has beautiful gardens yes Lesley-Anne x

I love wandering through brocante. Never know what treasures you’ll find. Thank you for taking us along. Loved seeing Patrick and Stuart too. 🥰

Wow some very lovely Antiques . 😍
Yes, especially the 38000 euros silver platter!!
Lovely to have you back after your hectic summer❤❤👏👏🥂
Thank you Susie, glad to be back😃
Was lovely going along with you. The beautiful bowl with the spoons is a victorian sugar bowl. Thank you for a lovely time.
Glad you enjoyed it Nanette, I've never seen a bowl like that before, that would make sense, though wouldn't they have had lumps of sugar then? I think it came in a solid cone in Victorian times, which is why they had sugar "nips" to break bits off.
I enjoyed the brocantes. It was lovely you got to meet Galahad and his mom and dad. It was nice seeing your favorite boys there!😂❤

Are you still involved with the bar? You haven't mentioned nor shown it for quite a while.

Oooh Tony looks Posh in that ‘Sports jacket’ …… 👏
Love how you let everyone see what you are looking at. Some people just fly over things without pausing.
I try to Zandria, not always easy to film stuff at Brocantes, as so many people get in the way LOL x
Sneaky upload Jane………. Caught me out 🤔
Don’t need a bed warmer when married 😂…………… (but I did love the look of the chicken at 33.38-I would of bought that) 🙂
Coucou, se serait bien que tu film le panneau de la ville ou est la brocante 😊😊😊on sais jamais où vous êtes 😊
Coucou Guy x
I’d love it if you added the names of chateaux and towns you visit in the description below
Done for you Joanna x

Come on Jane………… gramophone playing was your chance to give my channel ‘Radiogram & Gramophone Toons’ a ‘shout-out’ 🙂🙂
Sorry Steve I didn't think of that, but you know I always film the gramophones and 78s just for you x
18.50 of vlog looks like a imposter gramophone, (first visual glance), modern replica !!
I thought that but the little dinky one was pukka wasn't it?
