My favorite wood is what makes the customer happy and pays the Bill's. Oh let's not forget buys the beers.
You guys put our the nicest firewood processing equipment on the planet. This thing is nasty fast. My favorite kind of firewood is the stuff sitting in the woodshed, already processed, doesn't matter the species as long as it's finished.
I run a tree service in Maine and our favorite wood to process is 30 inch straight grained red oak. We can get a cord out of the 7 way box wedge and up the conveyor in 17 min if everything is perfect. Some of the skinny pieces that fall out the debris separator get bagged for kindling.
Favorite firewood, white ash, white oak, red oak, cherry, hickory. I like ash because it’s ready to burn in 3-4 months
One thing your splitters do like no other, is make the biggest smile when you see them running. This one even makes you shake your head in amazement.
I split red and white oak exclusively.
Love Ash firewood
That’s awesome!!!
AWESOME!
Here Eastern Canada we like heating with #1 beech, #2 maple and #3 yellow birch👍🔥
I've got lots of beech for this winter. Really appreciate the feedback and support.
That’s awesome
Love it!
I love it!
The 37D made fast work of that red oak. Red oak and hard maple split nice. Elm is one of the tougher ones.
Oak is my favorite to split and burn
Love those splitters looks like they're working awesome
I think this box wedge and return is so slick! The eastonmade on the return looks awesome too!
Love the videos and that BOX WEDGE is SWEETTTT !!!
This machine is crazy fast love it and the videos just an absolute BEAST
Thank you Andrew. Now that's what I'm Talk'n about!
that is a great splitter it's so easy 👍👍
Hey hey, have a good one.
Now that's cranking out the firewood. Wow!
Box weg on that splitter is just amazing 👏
I want this exact set up! This thing is awe$ome!
Fantastic! Eastonmade!
fun to watch and wish we could get one!
What a machine!!
Just one more thing on my wish list!😎
Man the more I watch that thing run the more I like it
That machine is awesome. I was wondering how the box wedge would do and now I know. Thanks Andrew
That’s an amazing machine Andrew! Red oak and cherry are my favorites to split.
Love watching it cycle through - such a great splitter Andrew. Overall, love splitting the Ash best of all. Cheers and thanks for demonstrating the box wedge on that 37D! Cheers!
That thing is a beast of a splitter, well done Eastonmade 👏 ✔ 👍 👌 🙌 😀
Great video 👍
This splitter is amazing. You could get some serious production done with that beauty
That box wedge sure makes things look easy with those big logs! Good work!
My favorite firewood is red oak
In Maine, my favorite wood to split is red oak and maple. I split a lot of beech as well and it usually isn't too bad
Boy that's a time saver! I split a lot of stringy pine and oak. It can be a battle sometimes.
My dad and both burn outside wood burners we cut and split our own wood we use all kinds of wood but yes Oaks are good but I use oak, poplar, Aspen because we have a lot of it, also use a lot pine which I have no issues with,
Kevin from ohio
Wow, this has to be the best log splitter money can buy. That thing is impressive, beautiful machine
Another awesome video, I can't wait for my Axis!
Holy smokes, absolute beast!
The wood we do most over here is birch, rather easy to work with.
Super fantastic splitter! Have the jacket to match already. Firewood is tough on clothes. Box store splitter hard on the body.
Definitely oak, box wedge for everything.
Love that splitter
Thank You for your honesty Drew,,, now put that Husky Down !!! Showtime some old "Logging Monster's"... 💞
My favorite wood to burn is Southern Live Oak here in coastal NC. It’s tough as nails and heavy as crap compared to red oak and very stringy. It’s very hard to split but it pays off because it burns so well. This is my dream machine right here! Keep up the awesome work Andrew!
Ive worked one just like that [NZ made] they do a great job .
I'm over near Owen Sound. My favorite to split is Ash, but my favorite to burn is Sugar Maple, then Beech. They've always put out the most heat.
Geez, that thing is so fast, if you blink you'll be on the next round to split. Simply amazing.
Just got my 12-22 such a great machine red and white oak run through the 5 way box makes some pretty firewood
Mine is out a year and a half
@@benjaminhenke4474 its easy for me to say be patient because I now have mine but I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this machine this is the heaviest built machine I have ever seen and besides the wear items it will last at least 4 or 5 lifetimes
I like your spitter. Locust trees is my favorite.
Red,white oak and loctus wood awesome
Just watched it again, Andrew. Still gives me a big smile. lol
This unit is rediciously effective!
I like the smell of pine a lot, beech and oak are very common around here.
Now thats a saw with a nice 32" bar :) ... and a great set up. And that 37D ... died and gone to heaven
That thing is a beast
I really enjoy watching your products perform on various RUclips channels. As for my favorite firewood, I prefer red oak because it splits easily with a machine or a maul and there is nothing like the small of fresh-split red oak. It is abundant where I live in northeast Ohio.
HOLY COW is that fast!
Red and white oak are my favorites. The red splits real well and uniform. White tends to be a bit stringy. Both give great heat! I had access to about 10 cords of white this year so I take it when I can get it.
Poplar cuts nice on my current splitter. White oak also cuts good.
After watching a his video, I’m tempted to add that box wedge to my order.
Nice work Andrew. Keep it up my friend.
Thanks brian. Really appreciate the support
I love splitting oak. The fragrance of that particular family of woods is soothing and calming. Thanks for posting.
Makes for amazing smoking wood too!!!
My favorite firewood……the free stuff!
Andrew, one of the smartest designs i have ever seen for the common man to work large rounds! Red Oak is my favorite wood to split! Great Video!🚜🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
Absolutely a beast!! Personally I love burning oak, beech, hickory and cherry.
Me personally I don’t have a personal favorite wood to split. I love when it’s tight straight grain and it pops when you split it on the splitter that’s my favorite kind. Almost any wood can be awe full to split you just never know. Always a pleasure to watch.
Ash is my favorite
Awsome video Andrew. Here in MN red elm and red oak are the best to split. American elm gives off alot of btu but is very difficult to spilt.
THAT'S FAST WOW
Oh! I really like being able to swap out a wedge for a box wedge and back. I split all kinds of wood depending on what blows down or dies out in the woods. 28" red oak to 4" hazelwood. You never know what's up next. Next week it will be a couple of 18" white oak. Cheers!
My favorite is maple, it splits well with my maul, but right now I’m splitting 36” rounds of hickory and that is kicking my butt! Can’t wait for my 12-22 to make its way to me but I’ve still got a wait yet...
Didn't know what a Box Splitter was now I want one
White Oak, Andrew. Thanks for the video.
Nice splitter.
This would be handy for a up and beginning business.
the only problem with eastonmaid is ,the long wait time to get one.The lead time is over a year !
For my boiler, locust and hickory wood is my favorite!
Nothing like a nice piece of White Ash! Even dripping wet it dries fast in the wind.
Typically six months in the pile, well covered and it's ready to burn.
G'day Andrew, you're right the structure of the wood makes all the difference, my 87 year old mum splits her wood into smaller pieces with a boys axe as she has done since the Second World War. If its twisted or fiddle back only one machine will do it. The good wood here also melts the cast iron linings and cracks the fire bricks which is a bit of a bugger 👍🇦🇺Ishman.
Love what that spits put! No long dry times here.
Thanks rick!! Really appreciate the feedback and support
Yep.. red oak and cherry seem to split best and pretty too. Love that machine
What a difference in a pandemic year. Now I'm drooling over a Canadian made 37-Ton wood splitter cycle time with a box wedge cause what it could do for my new firewood business.
We have a lot of black walnut here in the Philadelphia PA area. But my favorite is locust. Burns long and looks so nice. Thank you for the video! Wondering how big your machines are gonna get. Waiting for your 200-1000 splitter with a 0.6 second cycle time. I joke, kinda . . . . .
Keep up the great work!
That splits nice..
now that is one fast splitter dag
Nice
I like Beach as my favorite firewood.
My favorite to split is ash, it's so easy to split and it is almost seasoned when you split it. My personal favorite wood to burn is white oak and when it's real cold Bodock (AKA Hedge apple and osage orange).
Love my box wedge. It is by far the most use wedge I use from 14" up. My are is loaded with Oak. Oak is King in our area. I love burning White Oak. White Oak towards the bottom gets stringy but the 22-28 eats it up. Red Oak does split the best.
Hickory is what I have the most of. but I have 45 acres of mixed hardwoods. Most of my stuff is over 16" and closer to 24" We have maple, cherry, several oaks, poplar,
Mix of red oak, beech, and white ash. Great vid and machine. Be safe and be careful.
Fast is an understatement
Hadir menyimak bosku.salam silaturohmi semoga lancar riskinya dan tambah maju chanelnya
Free wood. Hehe Great video
Ash. I like that the most, grows fast and straight. Also can burn green with little to no creosote.
That's a fast and powerful splitter
I love the cradle design drop it and go!
Can't waite to get my 12 22 if I love it ill order the 37 d
I think it should be there before to long phil. They loaded it on the truck yesterday
Найкращі дровоколи в світі!!! Я обожнюю їх!!! Мрію і собі колись такого купити))))
Підтримую!!!
Sweet gum 😎
Red Oak is by Far my favorite Firewood. Easy spit and clean Firewood. And looks amazing after a summer in the sun.
Straight grained maple is right up there with red oak in terms of easy splitting. Not quite the heat output but easy to split
White oak is my go to all nighter wood. Favorite wood to split? Once I get that 37 ton eastonmade its all going to be my favorite.
