Hello. Follow the steps.
1. Scan and delete the code 2F44 from the DME.
2. Then go to immobi.... scan CAS. And delete.
3. Allign DME, CAS, Stater interlock

Hi, I commented in other video about the issue I'm currently facing, the X5 8 cil, 4.8 , just cranks but wong start, codes are A03B starter motor terminal 50, 2EFE fan activation and 2F44 preventive maniuplation (i tried to turn it on adding some starter liquid on throttle body, without success). I started as follows: when turn it on, it starts but just accelerating it turns off, tried again and the same happened, later it definitively won't start. I checked the fuse box , some rust on it, removed it , cleaned it and reinstalled and nothing, the issue remains. I remember in the past my jeep wont start, just cracks and the failure was the crank sensor. Do you think the failure could be the crank sensor as well.

Hello Best Car Fixes, I have a 2010 BMW X5 E70 3.0 X-DRIVE N52 engine (formally named the 3.0si), that I bought from a guy who couldn't get the car running again after replacing theME. It appears that water was getting into the housing which flooded the DME etc. Before I get in to restoring this vehicle I noticed that the harness plugs has heavy corrosion on them (I will clean or replace them). In that being said what is your opinion to get this engine to fire up. He replaced the DME, and to start X5 and it fired up and quickly died with a clunking sound from the engine. Finally, my guess would be to pair a new DME, CAS, Immobilizer, and foot well modules to see if I can get this car to start. Thanks for your assistance and help. Sincerely, ShawnRamone
