Hey y'all from the Houston area. Merry Christmas! I didn't even get 9 of those greens so you are doing great. I see that Grinch laying down on the job in the top of that bucket.
Yes, on Hossinator tomatoes. Nice big globes, healthy greens. First time. Will DEFINITELY do it again. Hoss products might be a little pricey, but quality excellent, shipping excellent, value excellent. God bless Hoss and families and workers!
Love the Grinch hanging out on your cute😢 little Christmas sign about your Naughty List! Of course the one is the bucket by Mr. Greg is pretty cool too! Merry Christmas to the Hoss Family 🎉🎉🎉
Good day. Thank y'all for another great year of shows and the great products. Y'all have made our fields full of bounty. Y'all have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed new year. Mr Grinch is in the bucket next to Mr. Greg. Y'all have a blessed day.
Merry Christmas 🎄to the Hoss family. Happy to report my bundle of 3 onions are tucked into our garden beds. It’s the first time I’ve ever planted onions and I’m so excited😊 to watch them grow in our new home 8b costal NC. PS I see that grinch mixed in with your greens in that half wine barrel spotted immediately😂
Merry Christmas to all of you at Hoss. I'm glad to hear you are all doing better and i hope you have a great holiday. I look forward to ordering my seeds in the spring.
Wonderful episode! Merry Christmas to the entire Hoss Family & many thanks for sharing your products/knowledge throughout the year. *Grinch is camouflaged in the greens bucket😊
I love how Mrs. Hoss, being a great wife, organized her hubby’s seeds…Mr. Hoss, while sitting in one spot, managed to mix up those seeds!!! Hehehehe 😂😅
Merry Christmas everyone ❤ I’m Glad all went well with that surgery, I was there earlier in the year. The Grench is laying down on the top of bucket, next to Greg😊
The best summer squash I have ever grown is the Cue Ball summer squash I got from you. The flavor is great, and it produces amazing amounts of squash compared to other varieties. A couple years ago I bought several varieties of summer squash from you to try, and by far Cue Ball was the best. I also grow Thelma Sanders and Tatume squash, which are winter squash that are edible and very tasty when picked young as summer squash. Aspabroc Broccolini is the best broccoli variety for me. It bears small florets that just keep producing compared to other broccoli varieties. I hope you folks have a wonderful Christmas and Happy and Prosperous New Year!
@@gardeningwithhoss I plant a Sun Sugar yellow cherry tomato at the end of my back yard patio. When I go out to my garden I stop and pick some and eat them on the spot, they are so good! I sure miss them in winter!
Merry Christmas Greg and Sheila! My Green Griller squash is producing like crazy here in zone 10A Tampa Bay FL. It is now my absolute favorite squash to grow. I see the grinch in the bucket behind Greg laying down. Guess he celebrated too hard nearly. 🤭
The Grench is in the wood bucket behind Greg. I was impressed with Green blaze this year. Had tasty green beans even when I didn't take good care of them. 😀
Greetings rom Tallahassee! I was a little late in getting my cabbage and broccoli seeds planted this year because we were on a cruise to New England. All are looking good, just a little behind. Regarding broccoli, I have found it is hard to beat Green Magic and Imperial. I am also growing a purple variety this year. I will try the one you suggested next year. Relative to cabbage, Bravo and Bobcat are my two top performers this year. I am also growing Twister, Flame, and Cheddar cauliflower this year. My Vidora onions are growing well and are looking good! Take care and be safe...
‘Nother comment, you forgot rudabagas. Tops and bottom bulbs are delicious! We plant a bunch, take a bit of green leaves from each as turnip greens, and later harvest the bulbs.
No sir, I would have did lots worse on the green leaf test. Its hard when there are so many. Once you know, you know though. Put Christmas gift in the mail Wednesday for y’all. Blessings and looking forward to spring planting! Lori at whippoorwill Hollar gave y’all a shout out this week. Love her to pieces. 👩🌾💙🎄
Great show very informative. It would be nice if there was a list of the favorite vegetables and the alternative recommendations available as a link below or on your web site. The Grinch is in the wooden bucket. Merry Christmas
Triamble pumpkin provided one single large heavily scarred grayish blue beauty for me. That sounds bad, but it survived large hailstones, severe drought, a deep scar from the armadillo, and two nights where all the leaves were eaten off the entire plant by a herd of deer. It’s decorating the kitchen still. Will let you know how it tastes after I use it as a model in a still life painting. Grinch in the bucket.
Any Sugar Ann type peas that is heat tolerate? I tried planting in spring and fall seed trays and direct but weather went from too cold too hot peas grew vines but no peas until killing frost. My Crimson sweet watermelons grew big but were over ripe. I waited for water melon stem to dry up before picking. That usually works but it was a very hot summer
While sweet peas generally prefer cool weather, some varieties are more heat tolerant than others: Old Spice: A heat-tolerant variety of sweet pea Mammoth Mix: A heat-resistant variety with large flowers and long stems Painted Lady: An older variety with smaller, more fragrant flowers that are more heat tolerant than modern varieties Original Cupani: An older variety with smaller, more fragrant flowers that are more heat tolerant than modern varieties Queen of the Night: A blend of antique varieties that includes "Captain of the Blues", "Cupani", "Lord Nelson", "King Edward VII", and "Miss Willmott"
