ahh awesome! good ole memories :D i used to make full-frontal crashes on the monza straight with this game! cant blame me though, i was 5 when i played it, and this game was way too hard for me lol.
For such an old game, it was way ahead of it's time. The replay value was epic, even years later. I used to roleplay it by having practice on a friday, timed laps on the saturday and the full race on the sunday. If I crashed then I was out of the race. Fun times (believe it or not!). I must admit, I was pretty good at it, but I played it for years though. "Michele Alboreto is out of the race" Ah, good times :)
Heh, thanks! Since I'm not using throttle help (F7), I have to set the 1st gear rather high to avoid excessive spinning, so the engine sounds a bit low out of the corners - I'm also using a keyboard, but gears are automatic.
Read my comment,i have 2 records în GP 3 ,a1ring,and Italy,first with tyrell ford,and second with Jordan honda,în GP 2 no ,but compare the 2 game,,the GP 3 îs a Little beat Good,a cause of setups!
I have used the Carset Editor to modify the game so that I can play at Ace level and still have some driver aids available. The driving line aid for example, since it had been years since I had last played GP2 when the clips were recorded.

This is what I want from a modern console game. The option to change every setting and aspect of the car, to suit you and to suit the car and track. There is too much emphasis on games looking good nowadays than being a true simulation. In these games every component of the car had a value that could be altered. Its F1 fans that buy the new games, so surely that's what F1 fans want, not just a pretty arcade game with a few rudimentary settings.

This was a massive game at the time ! I always wanted it . Good driving.

i have this game and it work but it goes faster i guess i have too new computer but is there any way to fix that

Probably more realistic than games today (f1 2012).
Certainly more fun, tbh f1 2012 offers nothing over this.
