Oh Hope, I'm truly sorry! She had such a wonderful time doing zoomies in the snow! Thinking of both of you and your kitty too! Love and Hugs!

We hope that in addition to the snow fun, we gave her a happy life all in all. It's tough to find a new routine without her but treasure the time we had. Thank you for your kind sentiment.

Thanks, Pattie. We've got big holes in our hearts and our home right now. But, we're trying to remind ourselves how very blessed we were to have that time with her and to have each other (and y'all) as we transition into this new state of being.

Hope🥺 thank you for setting up the intro as you did. I knew I wouldn't be able watch your face and listen to the sound of your sweet voice tell the story, so I didn't open the video I read along to keep a tiny bit of emotional distance.( I hope selfishly not opening the video doesn't hurt your channel much.)
Loosing Zoe suddenly as you did...oh my.....but having it happen at home with you guys instead of a scary vet place...well, that's just a tiny thing to feel a tiny bit better for. I'm sorry.
And please give yourself a rest and stop watching/listening/reading news. It's too crazy and theres not much we can do at this point. The fear and sadness of everything happening these days make me afraid my heart might explode from the vast and varied volume of emotions.
Maybe one day soon, you can create a beautiful, happy Zoe project to share with us. Sending love and positive energy your way. ❤

Oh, Susan, no worries about not opening the video. I had the trigger warning there for that reason. I knew it would be hard for so many to watch something like this that hurts so much. And, yes, we are a bit relieved that she was at home, with us at her side as she left us.
As for the state of the rest of the world. I try to give myself some grace from it, but I also don't want to be complacent and just allow it to happen. So, I'm working on finding a balance. It's hard. Here's hoping you are taking care of yourself during these trying time too.
Thank you so very much for your kind words and gentle support. Sending some hugs.

I really appreciate that, Jayne. Thank you. We actually have two cats. I hardly ever show the other one. She's elderly and moody, but they have both been a comfort.

I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of your fur baby.
Do you have any heating system in your home. My sister lives in central Florida and they barely have heat. They had freezing rain and sleet.
Thinking about you and your hubby. ❤

Thank you, Terri. It's been such an adjustment here. She was so much a part of our daily routines and soundtrack.
We do have a central heat system (it's central air and heat - and is the system that seems to constantly pop on just as I turn the camera on!) We don't have a fireplace in our home, but many people do. My concern was our leaky windows, but we were plenty warm with layers of clothes and an extra quilt on the bed. I hope your sister was able to stay warm there and that it melted away faster than it did here!!
I appreciate your kind thoughts so very much!
