Picked this model as know It will be dependable and reliable and have a good resell value.The Chevy traxs and the other ones are junk.Their engines will not last past a hundred thousand because of the turbo

You did not have a CVT in the Civic.
I own the 24 sport and it is beautiful inside and out. Feels great to drive BUT the 158hp after 5 months just is not going to cut it. 174HP would be fantastic. I am looking to upgrade to a CRV.
If you do not take the highway and just want it for the AWD for winter driving it is a great vehicle.

Even though they upgraded the engine to the Civic motor it's still way underpowered. The interior however is a huge improvement compared to my 2020 Sport HRV.
I wish it had more power too
@@HawkeyeRides I own one it is painfully slow. My only complaint, gorgeous inside ( sport ) leather wrapped wheel. Perfect for my wife but I am getting a CRV
so the Sport version difference compared to the classic base LX is only esthetic and giratory angle, right? I am asking because I see everywhere that the LX has a bit of a lack of potatoe power...

Because it has more than enough speed for most drivers. Just got the base 25 model and I love it so far.
It's the end on May, 2024 now, I was originally interested in a Civic Sport Hatchback, until the HR-V Sport came out, which suits me better for what I wanted and needed, but would probably get the aftermarket Pedal Commander for improved throttle response, but Honda is updating the Civics with upgraded sport Touring Hybrid trims over the base LX and Sport, most likely the same 2.0L engine in the hybrid form as the other Honda Hybrid models over the problematic 1.5L turbo, up to Si performance of 200 HP and 232 FT/LBs Torque, which would be great. If Honda similarly updates the HR-V with a Sport Touring Hybrid to replace the EX-L, that would be perfect.
It would be nice to have a hybrid hrv 👍
@@HawkeyeRides In the present HR-V, not the other one for international markets, which is smaller. Done like the new Civic Hybrids coming out soon.
