In addition to all the things Kevin say about the Now Drive, the 'foot print' of the binding is smaller than many and packs away very easily into a board bag. A big plus for travelling.

Kevin, what do you think, Strata is almost the same then Burton Mission? And anyway, how do you like Burton bindings? I see that you are not riding them now. My favorite bindings now are Burton Cartel X, but I mostly ride carving. I use them with Nidecker Tracer snowboard and Salomon Malamute boots. PS I remember Bent Metal binding of the early 2000s. They were made of metal! I used them for carving in 2005 with F2 Eliminator snowboard (I lived in Europe, this brand of snowboards was popular there).

My all time favourite binding is the Switch system from about 1997/98. The Switch boots had the highback and ankle strap built in and the step-in function was all metal and bomb proof. I rode them everywhere from dry slopes in England to heli-boarding in bottomless powder in North America. Never let me down even once. Added bonus was the size of the binding - took up zero space in my board bag.
The bindings were invincible but sadly boots never are. If I could still buy Switch compatible boots I'd still be using that 1997 binding to this day. Never bettered.
