Men's CBB: Syracuse at Georgetown, 21-Jan-2008, full game

The 9th-ranked Georgetown Hoyas defeated the Syracuse Orange 64-62 in overtime at the MCI Center in Washington, DC. The Hoyas trailed 58-51 with 4:30 left in the game but managed to close out regulation on a 9-2 run to force overtime. Jonny Flynn missed a deep 3FGA at the OT buzzer.
Seniors Roy Hibbert and Jonathan Wallace lead the Hoyas with 15 pts each, and Hibbert chipped in 9 rbds as well. Jessie Sapp was the only other Hoya in double figures (11 pt), and his pair of clutch jumpers at the end of regulation gave us some free basketball.
Jonny Flynn played the entire game, and was the game-high scorer with 24 pts, albeit on 23 FGA. Donté Greene (15 pt) and Arinze Onuaku (11 pts) were the other big scorers for the Orange.
Let's not sugarcoat this, the game is a bit of a slog as neither team was able to manage above 1 ppp. Georgetown struggled to rebound and Syracuse shot woefully from 2FG and at the FT line.
The sound quality of this one is poor (and I'm not talking about having to listen to Sean McDonough). Sorry about that.
